One Hundred and Twenty Miles: A Birthday Present
POP!, hiissss. A tire withered, totally useless for the journey. Not even two miles out of the city and we had our first problem. Frowning and slightly annoyed I patched the tire, trying to listen for the leak over the obnoxious rushing traffic. With a groan and a snap the tire was back in place, the journey just begun. A much needed vacation
I don't know how many stories begin with a trip up 95, but that's how mine starts. A myriad of music helping us forge the 5 hour journey. Good puffed chips loaded with MSG, great company, and high expectations for our trip to Philly: a city that has never treated us wrong. We picked up Drunken Master Dave, and continued the following day.
