about me
DragonSong is a collaborative world music and arts ensemble. Their organic nature and unique instrumentation bridges the gap between tradition and innovation. Guitar, bass, violin, mandolin, cumbus, exotic percussion, and vocal harmonies create the rich, vibrant, musical tapestry that is DragonSong. Their kaleidoscope of compositions are inspired by innovative songwriting, cerebral lyrics and a shared love for stretching musical boundaries. Moments of tranquility alternate with episodes of dynamic and aggressive musicianship. A sound as sure and satisfying as the ocean tide.

We've been laying down tracks with Billy Woods & Daveed Korup. The learning curve with our new studio has been challenging, but magick is certainly afoot! So far we have tracks for Billy's "Peace Is Possible" & our "Samadhi". We plan to start work on "ReincarNation" and Daveed's "Cirlces" this week. Next week we'll track more drums for "Manipura", "Barefoot In Muntenia", "WanderLust", "ShadowPlay", and maybe even "Sky Filled With Anger". Keep your fingers crossed : )
