I have only just moved to the Bay Area and I left my crew behind in Minnesota. I have a Masters degree in Gender studies, and a strong conviction about feminism and queer politics. I'm strongly opinionated and not afraid to share it, but I manage to do so in a charming and polite manner. I love to read, hang out with folks who are interested in having conversations on a variety of topics (the ones that generally put me off my cookies are conversations about jobs and relationships). I am a former bartender, so I know how to cook up a fantastic cocktail.

I also joke that I'm secretly a comic book character. I can best be described as goofy, awkward, blunt and honest. My hair does not like to even closely resemble normal. I make the best cup of coffee in town (hands down, this is not debateable) and i know way too much about fine wine, cocktails and food for my own good. I am genderqueer, into drag shows (king, queen and otherwise) and I like being around people who are comfortable with my politics...at least with discussing them
