about me
over the top & a little intense, but genuine. loving, caring, and kind. constantly a work in progress & embracing the growth experience. unexpectedly shy when it matters. breakbeat thumper. ass shaker. mystic soul. teacher... student... trying to practice patience with the world around me. badass. ecstatically joyous in the moment. high thinking water bearer & grounded foul mouthed punk. learning to enjoy the dichotomy of my spirit. always open to magic connections.

Mike Ness & company are in my top five... why? Because they took time out of their lives for a simple waitress... signed her pathetic poster (with enthusiasm mind you) and walked away smiling after a five day run.

Their guitar tech, however, leaves much to be desired... sorry Kurt. The Dead 60's are pretty high up there too!!! Especially their minder who remembered that silly little dreaded girl a few days after hanging out on Polk street ;) Love to all you strangers... silly fucki... read more
I can't believe I got star struck meeting Mike Ness tonight, but I did. He's just such an *institution* in my weird little world and I'm a tad embarrassed to admit that I found it a bit intimidating being in the same room with him. He was a gent though... really nice guy all around.

We had our difficulties... police intervention, permit problems, little renegade fires here & there (never knew how quickly 100% cotton...

Don't get me wrong... I love the more compact packages of this world. There's something so proportionate about shorter men that I adore. But "tall" sounds so much better than "old" in this context, you see? The title was all about "the funny".

I digress. To get to my point... what is it with all the extremely young men hitting on older women these days? Not that I don't appreciate it. Really, I do. I've been known to take the psuedo-pedifile route on occassion. But there's only... read more
My ears are ringing from an evening in front of the sickest set I've heard in a good long while. Fucking downtempo Lorin in the front room at 1015. I haven't been transported to such an extent in absolute ages. Kudos you twiggy motherfucker. How such a slim package can rock so hard is just beyond me.

For those of you who may have witnessed the sillyness with the roid rage frat boy... well, he deserved to get booted after trying to bully me in such an aggressive manner. 4 out of 5 dent... read more
