<div>last night being Sunday was our weekly boy's night out. This week it was only, Mike, Drew and I. We drank some beer, played some pool and mingled with the locals. I got invited to a house party that was happening and because I'm who I am I went. It was a funny evening. Different than hanging with my friends. No playing music no dancing, to deep conversations on the way of the world. No talk about the government or surfing or nature. just a group of people sitting in a semi circle getting wasted. Around midnight i decided to bail and hitch hike back up the beach. I could have stayed in town but i through caution to the wind and hope for a ride. Well that didn't happen and i walked 14 km home on a country road in the dark. I was really nice for the first 8 km's lol. I not scared of the dark but something was tracking me in the woods beside the road. The sound of the crashing surf was so loud i was having a hard time figuring out what it was. At first i thought maybe it was a deer, but after a few crashes through trees i realized it was to big. So it must be a bear I thought. That's cool, Bears aren't that big a deal so I kept walking. Nowhere to go but forward. the noise got closer and closer then it was right beside me. So i stopped to see what would happen. It passed me and kept going. this were things got a bit weird. Strange large unidentified animal on a northern beach on a northern island in northern Canada. At two in the morning8 clicks to the nearest house. Then the creature burst from the woods, onto the road in front of me. I was to dark to see what it was but it was huge! So now I was sure it was the biggest bear I've ever seen around here. Or it must be a monster coming to do battle with me in the night. I stopped walking and stood my ground having no were to run anyway. I yelled a couple of time's and it didn't move. It was still except for some low grunting sounds. We stood there, the monster and i waiting for the other to make a move. After 5 mins (I have a low attention span)I pulled out my knife and walked right for it trying to be intimidating.Just when i thought it was me or him, i heard an unexpected noise. MOO MOO. there i was about to do battle with a giant wild cow!...... Needless to say I laughed to my self all the way home.
I'll have to get more of that weed though
its good shit....
peace
