serious request for help

those of you who are Santa Barbarans or ex-Santa Barbarans might remember an old man known as Leon or Hijay (sounds like "hi, Jay!") though he prefers to go by Leon now (long story, so never mind). Leon is currently under hospice care for prostate cancer. at this point he eats like a bird, having experienced extreme loss of appetite and some nausea, and has lost a dangerous amount of weight. he is weak, and though in a decent mood as of my most recent visit, he is vulnerable to depression, especially given his illness and confinement. he could get bed sores...among other problems! responsible parties have put in a request for appetite stimulants but i don't know how long Leon would have to wait before this gets implemented or takes effect.
therefor...i'm now asking friends and people of goodwill to pray (or whatever else you do to summon spiritual help) for Leon. i think i'm not foolish enough to expect anything so unlikely as a full recovery, but i've been praying that Leon find his own strength, regain his inner balance, regain his appetite, eat more normally, heal to the fullest extent possible physically mentally emotionally and spiritually, and greet each of his remaining days with love as a blessing and an opportunity. please join me by praying (etc.!) likewise in your own way for my friend. from the bottom of my heart, thanks in advance.
