The situation is worst in countries without national health that depend on health insurance. In the United States , employer-sponsored health insurance premiums more than doubled between 1996 and 2006, 4 times the increase in wage [1]; and more and more people find themselves uninsured. The US spent $2.2 trillion on healthcare in 2007; averaging $7 421 per person, 16.2 percent of GDP, and nearly twice the average of other developed nations. Yet this most advanced and costly medical system in the world is the leading cause of death and injury to its citizens. Each year, some 2.2 million suffer from adverse drug reaction, 7.5 million undergo unnecessary medical and surgical procedures, and 8.9 million are unnecessarily hospitalised. In 2001, the medical system killed 783 936, when 699 697 died from heart disease and 553 251 from cancer [2]. The healthcare system is failing the world over [3, 4] ( The Depressing Side of Medical Science , Why the Planet is Sick , SiS 39). Health journalist and author Nick Regush summed it up starkly [5]: “Medicine as we know it, is dying…The disease is caused by conflict of interest, tainted research, greed for big bucks, pretentious doctors and scientists, lying, cheating, invasion by the morally bankrupt marketing automatons of the drug industry, derelict politicians and federal and state regulators….As a journalist, it has become very plain to see how little anything the medical Establishment does these days can be trusted or taken at face value. Press conferences, journal articles, symposia – all are geared to spike and obfuscate the truth, to hide red flags from the public and to bulk up the shares of investors in the companies that are promoting the science and the researchers.” Domo did it Regush and others have correctly identified the proximate causes conspiring in the death of medicine. But those are all symptomatic of a deeper cause, the obsolete model that dominates not just medicine, but the whole of our lives. Let's call it Domo for short. Domo runs our economy, our industries; it lurks behind our political, social, and educational institutions, its tendrils woven into the fabric of our lives. We accept it unthinkingly, mistaking it for the ineluctable ultimate reality. Whenever something goes wrong, we look for someone, something else to blame; leaving Domo looming larger and stronger than ever before. Public debates on the causes and cures for AIDs [6] ( Unraveling AIDS , ISIS publication), GM foods [7] (see for example GM is Dangerous and Futile , SiS 40), mobile phones [8] (see for example Drowning in a Sea of Microwaves , SiS 34), pesticides [9] (see Picking Cotton Carefully , SiS 34), and more, are all in the service of Domo, because we leave it untouched in the process of destroying ourselves. Isn't it time we blow the cover on Domo? Science of death vs science of life, mechanism vs organism Domo is a seductively powerful view of the world as machine that can be taken apart, analysed, controlled, and re-tooled to serve our every want, wish, and whim. It had ushered in the industrial revolution and shaped the subsequent history of our planet right up to the present multiple crises in the throes of climate change. Scientific enquiry has its own momentum, however, and the mechanistic science of Domo was already becoming obsolete at the turn of the past century when the science of the organism emerged. I have outlined how Domo's economy of infinite unsustainable growth that depends on competition and profligate dissipation should be replaced with nature's own closed loop economy that minimises wastes and thrives on reciprocity and co-operation [10] Science in a New Key ( SiS 43)..This organic circular model applies especially to sustainable agroecological systems that can mitigate climate change while providing food and fuel security for all [11] ( Food Futures Now: *Organic *Sustainable *Fossil Fuel Free , ISIS Publication). Here, I shall sketch out how the science of the organism can replace Domo biology and revolutionise our understanding of health, and healthcare. Domo's influence in biology has been the most profound and persistent. It presents the organism as a junkyard of molecular nuts and bolts subject to mechanistic principles of lock and key, push and pull, random collision, linear causation, controller versus controlled, etc .Diseases are largely viewed as ‘defects' in specific molecular mechanisms, and defined as such. This is the kind of thinking behind the human genome project that has all the signs of having run aground after decades of sequencing and dissecting genomes, and trying to identify the genetic defects that predispose individuals to different diseases (see [12] From Genomics to Epigenomics , SiS 41). Together with the physical laws of equilibrium thermodynamics and statistical mechanics, Domo biology is essentially a science of death that has virtually nothing to say about life. Erwin Schrödinger's book, What is Life? [13] was one of the first critiques of the mechanistic representation of life. It is widely acclaimed for having predicted the genetic material DNA. Much less known and more significantly, it also predicted the molecular coherence of organisms discovered in my laboratory in 1992; which too, has been largely ignored. Living organisms have such a high degree of molecular coherence that they appear as dynamic liquid crystal displays under the polarising microscope geologists use for identifying crystals. The science of the organism is predicated on a radical wholeness or coherence of the living system, which profoundly transforms our view of health and disease. Quantum coherent liquid crystalline organism works by intercommunication The wholeness of the organism transcends the age-old opposition between ‘top-down' and ‘bottom-up' explanations, or holist versus the reductionist approach in Domo biology. Instead, every single level is working together simultaneously, right down to individual molecules whose motions are so correlated in the tissues and cells that they make living organisms look like liquid crystal displays. Watch the videos of live organisms set to music in the Quantum Jazz DVD [15], and notice how the most active organisms and the most active parts of organisms give the brightest most brilliant colours because they are also the most coherent. In the healthy coherent organism, each single molecule is intercommunicating with every other; and each is as much in control as it is sensitive and responsive. There is no need for push and pull, because coherent energy is stored throughout the system, ready to be mobilized. This coherence explains why organisms are sensitive to the weak electromagnetic fields of the mobile phone and wireless networks saturating our environment [8], especially because the organism uses electromagnetic fields and electric currents for intercommunication (see below). A convenient description for the wholeness of the organism is ‘quantum coherence' extending over all modes of living activities, from very slow circadian or circa-annual rhythms to the ultrafast femto-second energy transfers between molecules; from the extremely local to the global. This hive of exquisitely coordinated activities is a ‘quantum jazz' [16] ( Quantum Jazz, The Tao of Biology , SiS 34) performed over a musical range of 70 octaves, in which every player is improvising spontaneously and freely, yet keeping in tune and in step with the whole. The most accessible evidence of the body-wide coherence of biological rhythms comes from the fractal and multifractal variations of the healthy heartbeat, which reflect an intricate phase correlation among all rhythms as the heart's own beat intermeshes and syncopates in symphony with the rest [17] ( The Heartbeat of Health , SiS 35). In contrast, the diseased heart that's no longer communicating with the body falls back on its intrinsic rhythm and becomes much more regular. This has opened up a whole new field of dynamic disease that can be diagnosed by mathematics, and possibly treated non-invasively by biofeedback techniques [18] ( Happiness Is A Heartbeat Away , SiS 35). The coherent organism is a unity of brain and body, heart and mind, an undivided bundle of intellect and passion, flesh, blood, and sinew that lives life to the full, freely and spontaneously, attuned not just to the immediate environment, but the universe at large. This ideal coherent whole is also the ideal of health. Water is means, medium, and message Quantum jazz is possible because organisms are liquid crystalline; the 70 percent by weight of water making up the tissues and cells are an integral, necessary part of the liquid crystalline matrix that enables rapid intercommunication to take place, whereby the organism can function as a coordinated whole. New research described in the latest edition of my book [14] and [19] ( Water Electric and other articles in the series, SiS 43) show how this special biological water in tissues and cells provide the means, medium and message for intercommunication. The liquid crystalline water is the ultimate source of protons (H + ) and electrons (e - ), positive and negative charges that zap through cellular compartments, between cells and tissues and the most distant parts of the body, energizing the organism, instantaneously coordinating its metabolism, growth, and other vital functions. The liquid crystalline water matrix pervades the entire organism from the extracellular connective tissues to the interior of every single cell. Special membrane proteins have water-filled channels that cross the cell membrane, acting as ‘proton wires' to transport protons in and out of the cell [20] ( Positive Electricity Zaps Through Water Chains , SiS 28).. This same matrix transmits the heart's large pulsating electromagnetic field throughout the body, including the brain, which paces and intercommunicates with the myriad local rhythms [18]. Within the cell, it transmits the much higher frequency electromagnetic waves emitted by molecules that depend on specific frequencies to recognize one another and coordinate their actions even at a distance [21] ( The Real Bioinformatics Revolution , SiS 33). The liquid crystalline matrix converts pressure and heat into electricity (and vice versa ), thereby coordinating the perfect movements of both voluntary and involuntary muscles that enable some people to be concert pianists, Olympic athletes, or Kung Fu masters. The thermoelectric and piezoelectric effects, typical of liquid crystals, may underlie the therapeutic effects of massage and other ‘subtle energy medicine' [22] possibly by restoring coherence to the body, as well as a balance of positive and negative charges. Special water channels in confined spaces aligned by collagen fibres have the potential to serve as superconducting proton cables, being really many proton wires wound together [23] ( Collagen Water Structure Revealed , SiS 32), and may well correspond to the acupuncture meridians of traditional Chinese medicine, as David Knight and I suggested in 1998 [24] ( Liquid Crystalline Meridians ). The anatomical correlates of acupuncture meridians remain unknown to this day [25] ( Acupuncture, Coherent Energy and Liquid Crystalline Meridians , ISIS lecture). Intriguingly, water next to charged hydrophilic surfaces, which are everywhere within the organism, not only forms ordered liquid crystalline layers, but can also be charged up by light, infrared light at 3 100 nm being the most effective in expanding the ordered layers that become charged up like a battery [19]. This finding reinforces the emerging picture that water is the lead player in bioenergetics [26] ( Water and Fire series, SiS 43). As Nobel Laureate Albert Szent-Gyorgyi remarked, water is “the mother of all life” [27]. Gene medicine based on Domo genetics ‘Biologicals', genetically engineered protein drugs, the first of which was insulin, are now found to cause adverse events and death more frequently than synthetic chemical drugs [28] ( ‘Biologicals', Wonder Drugs with Problems , SiS 42). This comes as no surprise, as genetic engineering is the epitome of Domo genetics that does not recognize the organic coherent whole where all genes and gene products are engaged in quantum jazz. You cannot just throw in an extra and hope it will slot into place like a missing logo piece. Domo genetics was already superseded by t he genetics of the fluid genome as the first biological was commercialised [29] ( Living with the Fluid Genome , ISIS publication), the fluid genome being part and parcel of the coherent organism perfectly attuned to its environment, constantly intercommunicating with it, altering gene expression and the genes themselves. . Decades of sequencing and dissecting the human genome in the hope of identifying genes for diseases have only served to confirm that the real causes of ill health are environmental and social [12] ( From Genomics to Epigenomics , SiS 41). It is not the genetic messages encoded in genomic DNA, but environmentally induced epigenetic modifications that overwhelmingly determine people's health and wellbeing. Early nutrition and parental care play a large role in an individual's physical and mental health [30] ( Caring Mothers Strike Fatal Blow against Genetic Determinism , SiS 41), and due attention must be paid to those aspects in delivering primary healthcare. Domo medicine must go, but basic research needed for the new organic medicine Domo medicine is obsolete and doing more harm than good. That's why people are turning to complementary therapies, not all based on well-founded knowledge, however. In May 2009, 67 percent in Switzerland voted in favour of a constitutional article for complementary medicine [31]. The Swiss vote reflects the growing importance of complementary medicine in Europe . Some 65 percent of Europeans report they have used complementary and alternative medicine, with 30-50 percent using it as self-support and 19 to 20 percent having seen a complementary or alternative medical practitioner in the past year. In contrast to the growth in popularity of complementary medicine, the science of the organism that could underpin it has languished, being valiantly pursued by only a few pioneers such as Jim Oschman [22], formerly a cell biologist. I have outlined the basic physics of the organism and its potential connections to dynamic diseases and complementary therapies. A new ‘organic medicine' could combine the best in non-invasive, non-destructive approaches from both traditional medical systems and contemporary science that would also revitalize indigenous medicines in all cultures and provide affordable healthcare for all. This project is all the more urgent in view of the increase in disease burden forecast for times of climate change. Fast-tracked Swine Flu Vaccine under Fire The vaccines far more deadly than the swine flu; mass vaccinations a recipe for disaster Dr. Mae-Wan Ho and Prof. Joe Cummins This report has been submitted to Sir Liam Donaldson, Chief Medical Officer of the UK, and to the US Food and Drugs Administration Please circulate widely, with all the hyperlinks included, to your elected representatives, wherever you are A swine flu outbreak occurred in Mexico and the United States in April 2009 and spread rapidly around the world by human-to human transmission. The new type A H1N1 influenza virus is unlike any that had been previously isolated [1, 2], judging from the first data released in May. It is a messy combination of sequences from bird, human and swine flu virus lineages from North America and Eurasia. A senior virologist based in Canberra, Australia, told the press he thought that the virus could have been created in the laboratory and released by accident [3]. Some even suggest it was made intentionally as a bioweapon [4], while others blame the intensive livestock industry and extensive trafficking of love animals over long distances, which provide plenty of opportunity for generating exotic recombinants [5]. But what worries the public most is the mass vaccination programmes governments are putting in place to combat the emerging pandemic, which could well be worse than the pandemic itself. Watchdog opposes fast-track vaccine for school children The US government is intending to vaccinate all children in September when school re-opens, and the country’s vaccine watchdog National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) has called on the Obama Administration and all state Governors to provide evidence that the move is [6] “necessary and safe”, demanding “strong mechanisms for vaccine safety screening, recording, monitoring, reporting and vaccine injury compensation.” The US Departments of Health and Homeland Security had declared a national public health emergency in April soon after the swine flu outbreak. As a result, some schools were closed, people quarantined, and drug companies were given contracts worth $7billon to make vaccines that are being fast tracked by the Food and Drugs Administration [7]. That means they will only be tested for a few weeks on several hundred children and adult volunteers before being given to all school children this fall. Furthermore, under federal legislation passed by Congress since 2001, an Emergency Use Authorization allows drug companies, health officials and anyone administering experimental vaccines to Americans during a declared public health emergency to be protected from liability if people get injured. US Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius has granted vaccine makers total legal immunity from any lawsuits that may result from any new swine flu vaccine. And some states may make the vaccination mandatory by law. The NVIC is asking whether the states are prepared to obey vaccine safety provisions in the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, which include: 1. Giving parents written information about vaccine benefits and risks before children are vaccinated; 2. Keeping a record of which vaccines the children get, including the manufacturer’s name and lot number; 3. Recording which vaccines were given in the child’s medical record; and 4. Recording serious health problems that develop after vaccination in the child’s medical record and immediately making a report to the federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. NVIC also wants to know if the states are prepared to provide financial compensation to children injured by the swine flu vaccines, whether parents will be given “complete, truthful information about swine flu vaccine risks”, and have the right to say “no” to vaccination. Co-founder and president of NVIC Barbara Loe Fisher said [6]: “Parents and legislators should be asking themselves right now: Why are children the first to get experimental swine flu vaccines? Are schools equipped to get signed informed consent from parents before vaccination, keep accurate vaccination records and screen out children biologically at high risk for suffering vaccine reactions? Will people giving these vaccines know how to monitor children afterwards and immediately record, report and treat serious health problems that develop? And will states have the financial resources to compensate children who are injured?” WHO and mass vaccination fever The mass vaccination order has come from the World Health Organization (WHO) [8]. In early July 2009, a group of vaccination experts concluded that the pandemic is unstoppable, and Marie-Paul Kieny, WHO director on vaccine research said all nations will need access to vaccines, and that a vaccine should be available as early as September. Critics point out that the ‘vaccination experts’ are dominated by the vaccine makers standing to gain from the enormously lucrative vaccine and antiviral contracts awarded by governments. But the decisive argument against mass vaccinations is that flu shots simply don’t work and are dangerous [9]. Flu shots ineffective and increase risks of asthma There are widely acknowledged reasons why flu vaccines won’t work, as already pointed out with regard to the much touted vaccines against the ‘pandemic bird flu’ that has yet to materialize [10] (How to Stop Bird Flu Instead, SiS 35). The flu virus changes quickly - even without the help of genetic engineering in the laboratory, and especially with the help of the intensive livestock industry - whereas the vaccines target specific strains. Furthermore, flu vaccination does not give permanent protection, and must be repeated annually; the vaccines are difficult to mass-produce, and some strains won’t grow at all under laboratory conditions. Numerous studies have documented that flu shots give little or no protection against infection and illness, and there is no reason to believe that swine flu vaccines will be different. A review of 51 separate studies involving more than 294 000 children found that in children aged from two years, nasal spray vaccines made from weakened influenza viruses and injected vaccines made from the killed virus prevented 82 and 59 percent of illnesses. The prevention of 'flu-like illness' caused by other types of viruses was only 33 and 36 percent respectively. In children under the age of two, the efficacy of inactivated vaccine was similar to placebo. It was not possible to analyse the safety of vaccines from the studies due to the lack of information, and lack of standardization on the little information available [11]. A report published in 2008 found flu vaccines in young children made no difference in the number of flu-related doctor and hospital visits [12]. On the other hand, a study of 800 children with asthma found that those receiving a flu vaccine had a significantly increased risk of asthma-related doctor and emergency room visits [13]; the odds ratios were 3.4 and 1.9 respectively. This was confirmed in a report published in 2009, which showed children with asthma who received FluMist had a 3-fold increased risk of hospitalization [14] Flu vaccines are equally useless for adults, including the elderly, giving little or no protection against infection or illnesses including pneumonia (see [9]). Toxic adjuvants in flu vaccines Vaccines themselves can be dangerous, especially live, attenuated viral vaccines or the new recombinant nucleic acid vaccines [10], they have the potential to generate virulent viruses by recombination and the recombinant nucleic acids could cause autoimmune diseases. A further major source of toxicity in the case of the flu vaccines are the adjuvants, substances added in order to boost the immunogenicity of the vaccines. There is a large literature on the toxicities of adjuvants. Most flu vaccines containdangerous levels of mercury in the form of thimerosal, a deadly preservative 50 times more toxic than mercury itself [9]. At high enough doses, it can cause long-term immune, sensory, neurological, motor, and behavioural dysfunctions. Also associated with mercury poisoning are autism, attention deficit disorder, multiple sclerosis, and speech and language deficiencies. The Institute of Medicine has warned that infants, children, and pregnant women should not be injected with thimerosal, yet the majority of flu shots contain 25 micrograms of it. Another common adjuvant is alum or aluminium hydroxide, which can cause vaccine allergy, anaphylaxis, and macrophage myofascitis, a chronic inflammation syndrome, In cats, alum also gives rise to fibrosarcomas at the site of injection [15]. Numerous new adjuvants are no better, and could be worse. According to a recent review in a science and business pharmaceutical publication [15], most newer adjuvants including MF59, ISCOMS, QS21, AS02, and AS04 have “substantially higher local reactogenicity and systemic toxicity than alum.” Current status of swine flu vaccines Five different companies have been contracted to produce vaccines worldwide: Baxter International, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis and Sanofi-Aventis and AstroZeneca [16]. Already stretched beyond capacity, there is every intention to make smaller vaccine doses go further with a range of new adjuvants [17], with the blessing of the WHO (see later). Flu vaccines are traditionally produced from non-virulent (attenuated or weakened) influenza viruses (see Box for a description of the viruses). To be effective, the genes of the non- virulent virus used must match those of the viral strain spreading in the population. Activation of the immune system by exposure to the non pathogenic form of the circulating pathogenic strain leads to the production of antibodies that will confer protection against the pathogenic strain. Producing the non-virulent virus involves first identifying and then recreating the subtypes of two of the virus’s surface proteins, haemagglutinin (H) and neuraminidase (N), which determine the strain’s virulence and ability to spread, and are also the target proteins for vaccine production. Influenza viruses There are 3 types of influenza viruses, A, B and C. The influenza A type virus is the main one that cause diseases in birds and mammals. Its genome consists of 8 segments of RNA coding for 11 proteins, and the viruses are further classified by subtype on the basis of the two main surface glycoproteins (proteins with complex carbohydrate side chains): haemagglutinin (H) and neuraminidase (N) [18]. The segmented genome enables the virus to’ reassort’ (shuffle) segments as well as recombine within segments, thereby greatly increasing the rate of evolution and generation of new strains. Reassortment is also widely exploited in the laboratory in the process of creating vaccine strains. To-date, 16 H and 9 N subtypes have been detected in numerous combinations circulating in wild birds [19]. Seed viruses are first made to provide the starting material for large scale production of live non-virulent flu viruses. The seed viruses are approved by the WHO or the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). The usual method of seed virus production is reassortment (see Box). Fertilized chicken eggs are injected with both a standard non-pathogenic influenza strain known to grow well in eggs and the strain that carries the genes expressing the desired vaccine H and N protein subtypes. The two viruses multiply, and their eight genome segments reassort with 256 possible combinations. The resulting recombinant viruses are then screened for the desired virus with the six genome segments that allow the standard strain to grow so well in eggs and the H and N genes from the circulating strain. The seed virus is then injected into millions of eggs for mass production of vaccine. This conventional method of seed stock production takes about one to two months to complete [20]. Cell culture systems may eventually replace chicken eggs. Baxter International applied for a patent on a process using cell culture to produce quantities of infecting virus, which are harvested, inactivated with formaldehyde and ultraviolet light, and then detergent [21]. Baxter has produced H5N1 whole virus vaccines in a Vero cell line derived from the kidney of an African green monkey, and conducted phase 1 and 2 clinical trials with and without aluminium hydroxide as adjuvant [22, 23]. The main finding was that the toxic adjuvant did not increase neutralising antibodies against the vaccine strain. Baxter has agreed to ship H1N1 vaccine by the end of July or early August 2009 but details of the production of that vaccine have not yet been released to the public [16]. In December, a Baxter facility in Austria sent a human flu vaccine contaminated with the deadly H5N1 live avian flu virus to 18 countries, including the Czech Republic, where testing showed it killed the ferrets inoculated [24]. Czech newspapers questioned whether Baxter was involved in a deliberate attempt to start a pandemic. Norvatis, another big pharma, announced on 13 June that it, too, has produced a swine flu vaccine using cell-based technology and the proprietary adjuvant MF59®. The MF59® adjuvant is oil based and contains Tween80, Span85, and squalene [25]. In studies of oil-based adjuvants in rats, the animals were rendered crippled and paralyzed. Squalene brought on severe arthritis symptoms in rats, and studies in humans given from 10 to 20 ppb (parts per billion) of squalene showed severe immune system impact and development of autoimmune disorders [26]. Novartis was in the news in 2008 for a clinical trial of a H5N1 vaccine in Poland. The trial was administered by local nurses and doctors who gave the vaccine to 350 homeless people, leaving 21 died; and were prosecuted by the Polish police [27, 28]. Novartis claimed the deaths were unrelated to the H5N1 vaccine [29], which had been “tested on 3500 other people without any deaths.” GlaxoSmithKline’s vaccine will be made up of antigens of the recently isolated influenza strain, and also contains its own proprietary adjuvant system AS03 that has been approved in the EU along with its H5N1 bird flu vaccine in 2008. According to the European Public Assessment Report [30], AS03 adjuvant is composed of squalene (10.68 milligrams), DL-α-tocopherol (11.86 milligrams) and polysorbate 80 (4.85 milligrams). The H5N1 vaccine also contains 5 micrograms thiomersal, as well as Polysorbate 80, Octoxynol 10, and various inorganic salts. The company is aggressively promoting various adjuvant systems as its ‘adjuvant advantage’ that reduces the dose of vaccines [31]. A recent WHO survey of primary vaccine producers concluded that the potential output of 4.9 Billion doses of H1N1 vaccine per year is a best-case scenario, assuming among other factors that the most dose-sparing formulation (that will include toxic adjuvants) be selected by each manufacturer and that production will take place at full capacity. WHO Director-General, Dr .Margaret Chan, and the United Nations Secretary-General, Mr Ban Ki-moon, met with senior officials of vaccine manufacturers on 19 May and asked them to reserve part of their production capacity for poor countries that would otherwise have no or little access to vaccine in the case of a pandemic [32]. The last mass-vaccination in the US was a disaster. In 1976, cases of swine flu were found in soldiers at Fort Dix, New Jersey, and one of them died, most likely of physical overexertion rather than from the infection [7]. This led to the launch of a mass vaccination of 40 million against a pandemic that never materialized. Thousands filed claims for injury. At least 25 died and 500 developed paralyzing Guillain-Barre syndrome [33, 34]. Swine flu syndromes mostly mild As of 22 July 2009, the CDC listed a total of 40 617 cases in the US, with 319 fatalities, giving a fatalites/case ratio of 0.8 percent [35]; though the real death rate – among all cases of infection including the mild ones that go unreported – is probably much lower. Experts estimate that only 1 out of 20 cases are reported [36]. The UK is the worst affected European country, and the pandemic is in the headlines everyday in July. A new telephone helpline was set up on 23 July to let people get advice and tamiflu without seeing a doctor. In that week, there has been a record rise in cases to 100 000 and a total of 30 deaths so far [37], giving a fatalities/case ratio of 0.03 percent, a more accurate reflection of the actual death rate. UK’s chief medical officer Sir Liam Donaldson has ordered the NHS to plan for as many as 65 000 deaths, with 350 a day at the peak [38]. There has been no plan as yet for mass vaccination; but the UK government has advance orders for 195 million doses of vaccine with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). The vaccine that GSK is developing will be tested on a limited number of people as the UK drug company reportedly [39] “weighs the pandemic danger against the risks of an unsafe shot.” This was criticized as “risky” by Prof. Hugh Pennington, a retired microbiologist at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. “By limiting clinical trials, Glaxo raises the danger that the vaccine dose isn’t properly calibrated, and could lead to shots that don’t protect people from the virus or at worse are unsafe,” Pennington said. Pennington added that the shot’s ability to trigger the body’s defences is crucial and requires tests to determine the best dose and whether an adjuvant is needed to bolster the immunity. (As we know, GSK is definitely promoting its new range of toxic adjuvants.) He also referred to the Fort Dix incident in 1976 (see earlier). France has ordered vaccines from Sanofi, GSK and Novartis, but sees no reason to ask vaccine makers to shorten or skip clinical trials [16]. Sanofi-Aventis, the French drug maker developing its own swine flu vaccine will begin testing the product in early August, and estimates it will need as much as two and a half months of tests before having a shot that’s “both safe and protective”, according to Albert Garcia, speaking for the company’s vaccine unit, “the vaccine will be ready in November or December, he said. Baxter, however, will produce a vaccine by early August for clinical tests. Glaxo also said it is developing a face mask coated with antivirals to prevent infection and boosting production of its Relenza drug for patients already suffering from swine flu. There are obviously safer and more effective ways to combat the pandemic than mass vaccinations: washing hands often, sneezing into a tissue that can be safely disposed of, avoiding unnecessary gatherings, and delay opening schools – all advised by governments - and we would add, eating healthily, exercise, and getting enough vitamin D to boost your natural immunity [10]. The advances in both conventional and original forms of medicine, although contradictory for the most part, have unintentionally brought us to the birthing of an entirely new system of medicine. The emerging New Medicine system will eradicate disease, frailty and aging as we know it. Find out how. The Origin Of Healing Systems The division of medicine into traditional/conventional and alternative/complementary did not occur by accident. Mankind as a whole needed to experience both of them before it was ready for a system of medicine whose purpose would be of a higher nature than is currently available. The new medicine, although it is so unlike the conventional and alternative models, is being birthed by both of them. Other than the Lemurian and Atlantean approaches to healing, it is clear that the `medicine of nature` has been the most influential in recorded history. Nobody created this form of medicine; it was simply there to be re-cognized or discovered by those who had direct access to the language of nature called Veda, which means knowledge or science. The first written records of nature`s medicine appeared about 6,000 years ago. They were channeled messages written down by Vedic sages in direct response to the first occurrences of illness on the planet. This system, which kept illness and suffering at bay for hundreds of years, became known as Ayurveda, or `Science of Life`. Although Ayurveda only survived the passage of time in India and some in areas of Brazil and China, it remains a universal form of medicine. Today it stands revived to some of its original form. It greatly contrasts with the western approach to modern medicine in that it seeks to address the underlying imbalance responsible for the symptoms of illness rather than trying to alleviate or remove the effects of the imbalance. Outsmarting The Violation Of The Laws Of Nature Before Ayurveda became a textbook science of healing, people knew how to live in harmony with the laws of nature. As a result, sickness, pain and poverty weren`t part of life. But as time progressed, we began to replace some of the laws of nature with our own laws; in other words, we violated natural law. To try to address the consequences of this transgression from natural living, a system of healing (Ayurveda) was developed to treat the physical and mental effects resulting from the deviations from natural law. A new set of natural laws needed to be employed to undo the damage that was caused by the violation of the original laws of nature. When you dam a stream of water and it flows over its banks, the flooding caused by this action requires a different approach than just letting the stream flow in its own course. We needed to employ new laws and insights to help us deal with the damage once done. The first violations of the laws of nature on Earth created the need for a natural system of healing, one that would give us access to those secondary laws that would reduce the damage caused by violation of the primary laws. This system would show us how to release the obstruction that hinders the flow of the stream in its natural direction. Without anyone violating the primary laws of nature, such healing systems would otherwise be unnecessary. Hippocrates was perhaps the most enlightened father of nature`s medicine in the more recent history of our species. He understood that the need for healing (applying secondary laws) resulted from the loss of alignment with one`s inner wisdom and intuition. The more humans distanced themselves from their own inner wisdom and the rules of the natural world, the harsher were the corrective measures needed to be taken by the force of nature. So killer diseases such as the plague began to decimate the population, which then generated the urge for a new kind of medicine, which would combat disease-causing germs and stop each new one dead before it became an epidemic. This approach is what has become known as the conventional system of modern medicine. Of course, all of this was part of the master plan - to throw much of humanity into the other end of the spectrum of duality for the purposes of greater learning and growth in consciousness. Breeding Illness Just like Ayurvedic medicine, modern medicine, too, was unable to prevent the escalation of disease on the planet. Modern medicine was so concerned with the effects or symptoms of disease that it lost sight of the reasons why people fell sick, most of which weren`t even physical causes. The discovery of the first antibiotic medicine (penicillin) caused euphoria among the medical circles and general population. Years later, the enthusiasm of developing an effective drug for almost every infectious disease became dampened by the fact that the side effects generated by the poisons contained in the drugs were so severe that they often outweighed their benefits. In fact, they actually contributed to the emergence of an entirely new class of diseases now known as chronic illnesses, such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and arthritis. At the beginning of the twentieth century only 10% of all diseases fell into this category. The rest were acute problems, including fractures, infections, burns, etc. By around 1980, over 90% of all diseases had reached a chronic stage, meaning they couldn`t be cured by modern medicine. They also became known as the killer diseases of the modern era. Since our genes haven`t changed a bit over the past hundreds or thousands of years, genetic errors cannot be held responsible for such a sudden and dramatic escalation of diseases, especially when most of them occur only in the modernized world. What`s more, having defective genes doesn`t mean an affected person is going to get ill. Research on the blood disease thalassaemia, for example, has shown that patients who have exactly the same defect in the gene may be extremely sick, mildly ill, or completely healthy. This applies to most other `genetic` illnesses, too. There may be just as many people with healthy genes who suffer from diabetes or asthma as there are those who have defective genes. The symptom-oriented approach of modern medicine became synonymous with the revival of the old epidemics that so scared and scarred humanity less than a hundred years ago. The wide use of antibiotics and steroids have forced the targeted microbes, blamed for causing infectious disease, to resist the drugs` action and mutate into what is termed `antibiotic resistant organisms.` The germs, following their natural survival instincts, are now outsmarting one drug after another, which means that there are now very few effective `treatments` left for diseases such as tuberculosis and malaria. Millions more people each year are dying from these `new` infectious diseases than ever before and the current trends suggest it will get worse. Unless medicine takes a complete u-turn in its approach, or healing is practiced in a different fashion, mankind will be greatly decimated once again. It is highly unlikely, though, that modern medicine is going to save humanity from self-destruction. The side-effects of drugs and treatments are breeding so many different diseases and causing so many deaths every minute of the day that it is virtually impossible to even remotely win the battle against disease as long as people believe they depend on any form of medicine, even an alternative one. Since the current medical system is primarily controlled by financiers who have a vested interest in keeping it going and even expanding it further, it is not in the investors` interest to find a real cure for the most common illnesses, for this would mean the end of medicine. Modern medicine is not designed to make people healthy; it is designed to make and keep people sick. Many voices among doctors, patients and alternative practitioners denounce the exploitation of `innocent` people. However, they have not yet realized that the same medical system that is misleading and enslaving mankind and robbing millions of people of their sense of sovereignty and self-empowerment is also instrumental in birthing a new medicine, one that will make everyone their own best healer. The government, health care agencies, medical associations, insurance carriers, and drug companies are unaware that they are key players in the cosmic game of transformation. They have helped a major portion of mankind to feel helpless and powerless against microbes and other disease-causing factors. The extreme denial of the infinite power of healing and rejuvenation that lies inherent in everyone is forcing the pendulum of time to swing back and allow the masses to gain complete and unrestricted access to this power within. Without the hazards of the old medicine, the new medicine could not come about. The perfection of all this lies in the fact that no person can fall ill, regardless of whether it is through a microbe or a medical drug or treatment, without having (unconsciously) agreed to this. The Universal Law of Non-interference makes certain there are no victims and no victimizers. Each person`s Higher Self knows exactly what lessons are needed to move on and evolve toward greater wisdom, love, compassion and self-empowerment, however hard and painful the learning process may appear to be. The final lesson of each individual is to discover and produce the New Medicine, the medicine of one`s Higher Self. The New Medicine The return of old diseases and the emergence of chronic illness divided mankind into two camps: One that continues to uphold the trust and confidence in modern medicine, and one that takes recourse to natural methods of healing. Although alternative (complementary) medicine is still battling to make its approaches available to the masses, in some countries of the world such as Australia, Germany, England, New Zealand and now also in the United States, it is becoming more and more common sense to try the natural route, either along with or without conventional medicine. Now both approaches are well represented in the overall scheme of things and can be accessed by almost anyone. Medical doctors still risk prosecution and loss of their license to practice medicine if they dare speak out in favor of alternative health modalities or even apply these in their practice. But before long we will find that both approaches of medicine will intermix or merge together. Indications for merger are already subtly there; when it happens in a more obvious way, a New Medicine will be born, one that will be entirely different from that which existed before. It will work according to the principle, "The whole is more than the sum of its parts." The New Medicine will be less concerned about what is wrong with the body or mind; it won`t need to be. Instead, it will focus on unleashing the creative power of the individual as the principle source of health and youthfulness. The New Medicine will recognize that disease is ultimately the result of disconnection from our Source intelligence and Source energy. It will give health care back to the people. Miracles will take place as frequently as operations take place today. Reconnecting with our spirit Source will be the most important thing that can be done to improve one`s health. It`s like switching on the light that dispels darkness. Mankind as a whole will realize that trying to find out everything about the symptoms of disease is like trying to investigate all the possible problems that darkness could cause to a person who has no light to see the path along which he is walking. Although switching on the light is a very simple act, it can solve some of the most complex problems arising from being in the dark. Imagine if there was no light. What could you possibly do in your life except sit, think and worry? Fixing diseases is similar to fixing darkness; there is no end to the fixing. Both the alternative/complementary and conventional systems of medicine are incapable of eliminating disease on this planet. Both of these systems are expressions of duality; therefore, their scope of influence remains very limited and incomplete. They each have their value in upholding their particular expression of duality; some of it is effective, and some of it is not. To find the eternal fountain of youth and healing, however, we must return to the origin of both these streams, that is, human consciousness. Now is the time to move collectively into the Divine moment where the consciousness of spirit and the physical matter of the body meet, and are recognized as one. It is in the gap of the moment where the two spirals of duality find their common origin. Of the two approaches neither is better or more important than the other. Both are capable of taking us to the desired place of wholeness. Here in this gap of simple existence we activate our creative intelligence, the intention of desire that becomes instant manifestation. The power surge emanating from the Divine moment of being within our own awareness creates the instant and automatic healing of that which is without. In The Gap Of Non-Judgment Healing does not need to take long. In fact, if it does it is likely to be incomplete. According to Japanese research studies, spontaneous remission and complete cure of cancer occurs when those afflicted with the disease move into the gap of non-judgment or non-duality, i.e., when they relinquish all needs or desires to have it one way or the other. This cannot be accomplished by will or by use of the rational mind. It may occur when someone faces death and, oddly, loses all hope for survival. Giving into death may take someone into the gap of their eternal spirit self, provided this is in the person`s highest interest. Thus, consciously losing the fear of dying and stepping into one`s essence may instantly stimulate the body`s immune system into a powerful response that can dismantle egg-sized malignant tumors in the brain, bladder, intestines, etc., within less than 24 hours, in some instances within as little as 15 seconds. There are thousands of documented cases like these. What is most interesting in these cases of spontaneous remission is that the healing merely (if that is not enough) consisted of gaining freedom from judgment, of accepting one`s situation at that moment. Fighting for life doesn`t get you to this magical place of the Divine moment, for effort and struggle are born out of fear. Giving up one`s desire to live, on the other hand, is born out of resignation, frustration and merely represents the other end of duality awareness. However, accepting death without trying to avoid or enforce it moves you into the Divine moment where miracles take place. Of course, we don`t all have to face death, either our own or someone else`s, in order to find the opening to slip into the Divine moment. Life provides us with plenty of other opportunities that can serve in the same way. All we need to do is to keep our eyes, ears and hearts open to receive and accept these opportunities, many of which may show up in the disguise of problems and misfortunes. In due time, our polarized duality consciousness becomes anchored in the singularity of Self. The body simply follows suit. Once we lose our polarity thinking, that is, our mode of reference to what we believe is right and wrong or good and bad, the DNA of our body begins to lose its polarity mode as well. As soon as we are able to accept whatever is, which means all our strong and weak sides, our successes and failures, fears, anger, and guilt, etc., our body will move, automatically and spontaneously, out of its polarity mode. You Can Make Your Body Do Anything When you are under the strong emotional influences of fear, anger, or even excessive joy, your body is out of balance, too. The stress of sudden joy can cause a heart attack just as easily as the stress of sudden rage. Being `good` is no antidote to disease. We need to remember here that being or expressing one quality also means that its opposite is not far away; in fact, it lurks in the invisible shadow part of our consciousness known as the subconscious mind. True healing begins when we can be both qualities and have no judgment about which one is better or worse. Shadow and light serve each other well and co-exist all the time. The reason we have `weak` spots in our attitudes and behavior is to bring out and develop their opposite, `strong` counterparts. Accepting both creates oneness or balance, and balance is the key to healing. Preferring one quality to another generates discord in the body and mind. For example, even if we choose happiness over sadness, it counts as an imbalance. Consequently, the body has no other choice but to develop a physical imbalance, too. Everything in life is valuable, and once we see that we then become graced with the perception of oneness. Since the body does nothing of its own accord but simply follows instructions, the new perception of oneness and acceptance of whatever is becomes the new blueprint reference for DNA. The genetic codes in your body`s DNA adjust to the `new you` and copy that information into a new RNA which subsequently alters the functioning of your body, making complete rejuvenation not just possible but unavoidable. When the adjustment is complete, the DNA structure will go off like a time bomb in order to accommodate the light of oneness. The time for genetic detonation is now. Our body is nothing but soft clay, shaped and molded on a minute-by-minute and day-by-day basis. If you tell your body that something is good for you, it believes you. It has no other choice but to serve one master, you. If you tell your body it cannot heal itself and requires help from outside it will believe this too and you will find yourself in need of a doctor, a drug or surgery. On the other hand, your body can walk on fire if you can convince it that it can. You can even pierce your body with knives and needles and suffer no injuries if you can make it believe that this won`t hurt it. If you persuade your body that it can live without air for several days while being buried under the earth, then it can even do that for you. Levitating in mid air or walking on water are other so called impossible feats the body can accomplish if it trusts its instructor enough. Sri Chin Moi, the well-known peacemaker and musician from India living in the United States, repeatedly lifts 1,000 pounds of weights in front of camera crews. He claims that the power is coming from his mind. Numerous `miracle performers` have been scientifically studied and show that the above abilities have actually nothing to do with the body but come from the power of the mind. Likewise, your body can remove a tumor that has metastasized (spread) everywhere. Predictions 2008: The Year of Global Awakening a message from The Brotherhood of Light channeled by Edna G. Frankel Greetings, dear ones, from the Brotherhood of Light. We are focusing on the year 2008 and scanning potential futures that are occurring all at once. There have been many different predictions about the rising energies on planet Earth—what is happening, when it is happening, where and to whom it is happening. Many voices cry out, “It’s next year! No, it’s in two years! No, it’s right on schedule!” This is very tiring, don’t you think? As with trying to guess which day is a “portal day” and when is the best time to meditate to “get somewhere,” you have no idea where you’re going, right? [Chuckles.] Ah, children, the whole point is to enjoy the process, not to worry about it! The Earth has her own timetable and another five years of shifting to do before she reaches a new electromagnetic balance in the fullness of the photon belt. As above, so below. Yes, as you are a meld of Spirit and matter, so you are linked to the planet and to her ascent. As we have said before, each one of you will reach the opening of your awareness in your own space and time. Are you doing your daily practice? If you are, whatever your favorite meditation is, you will never miss a single portal day or special energetic event. You will be rising along with the Earth’s energies, as long as you keep your jaw joints open to allow excess internal pressure to flow down and out your meridians, making room for new, clean energy to enter your system. As we teach in the Circle of Grace material, the true benefit of any meditation, sedentary or in motion, comes from doing it regularly! The best advice we can offer you for the coming year is to be strong in your spiritual convictions. The year 2006 we labeled “The Year of New Intent,” followed by 2007, “The Year of Spiritual Discernment.” In 2008, you will be called upon not only to walk your talk but also to stand your ground in dramas at every level, from the personal to the global. From our perspective, we see it as the “Year of Global Awakening.” Those of you who have been following the millennium shift since the late 1980s are tired of waiting! Those who have become seekers since the year 2000 are gobbling up as much learning as they can. Imagine, in 2008, how the Earth’s energies will shift when millions of people start realizing that the crazy weather and politics do indeed have a broader meaning. The year 2008 is when you will all start to wake up to the fact that global warming is upon you, and a lot more people are going to start praying. Ground Your Light Wherever You Are Dear reader, please remember that your world is the illusion, not the true reality. It matters not if you devoutly believe in the millennium shift or are becoming aware of the imminent dangers of global warming. The cosmic joke here is that the effects of both are dovetailing into one scenario! Some will say that the shift is becoming palpable; others will say that the climactic anomalies of global warming are becoming more pronounced. It matters not which you believe in; just know that by 2012, the effects of both will be clearly evident. The divine plan is incredible in its intricacy, is it not? [Chuckles.] It covers all levels of belief in order to propel your lessons forward. Which lessons? Oh, dear ones, life is more precious than gold or oil. Saving people is more important than killing people. Even if the majority of the world’s population never hears about the millennium shift, the work you lightworkers are doing at a very high energetic level will be mirrored by the thousands of people who are currently involved, and will become involved, in search and rescue and saving lives. Since more than half the world’s population lives in coastal areas, the poorer native populations will be the hardest hit and most helpless. We are not speaking here just about disastrous weather events, but also the effects of changing weather patterns that you have never seen before. Do not go into fear over this, dear readers; it is not a question of moving to a safer place, because the entire planet is changing. Rather, it is a matter of grounding your light wherever you are and holding that space to anchor the higher energies. Another factor that will speed up global awakening is the information coming from beyond your atmosphere, as your satellites and telescopes pick up more evidence of galactic changes occurring. Yes, more changes in the gravity and the magnetic fields of the Sun and the other planets in your solar system will be seen and wondered about. Thanks to the efforts of many scientists (and a few politicians), much information about global warming will be released that had been suppressed in many countries. Once the weather changes take priority over political and financial squabbles, people will begin to see the futility and waste of war. Your resources, money and manpower will need to be redirected to saving people rather than killing one another. By 2008, you will see a worldwide exhaustion regarding war and the old, fear-based politics. That old fear will pale in significance compared to the mounting climactic problems. People from all walks of life will start demanding that their governments listen and obey, instead of the other way around. A New American President with Integrity and Compassion Part of the awakening of the masses will occur as people reclaim their individual power instead of bowing to their old, fear-based societal traditions. We are speaking here of both East and West, because they must meet and agree, just as enough people, must demand change before science and spirituality can meet and merge. If you look carefully, most of the governmental and religious leaders are older adults engrained with lessons from the Cold War—the us-orthem mentality. Major change will come from the ranks of younger adults, the children of the baby boomer generation, as they move up into influential positions in big business and politics. Through and beyond 2012, they will bring in the new, higher perspective of “all one” people and what is best for the common good. There will be clear evidence of this in 2008, when the people of the United States elect a new president. After two presidential terms (eight years) of lies, deceit and cover-ups, the whole world will breathe a sigh of relief when the Bush regime ends. We do see good potential for the war in Iraq to begin winding down by then. In many unexpected ways, this leader has been positively influential in swaying that nation’s politics toward the good of the masses. Between the futile and embarrassing war in Iraq, the inept foreign policies and the erosion of democratic rights of the American citizenry, people are looking for something better, more noble, more wholesome and more intelligent in their next leader. Yes, in contrast to Bush’s total disregard for the wellbeing of his populace, the next president elected in 2008 will have clear, recognizable spiritual integrity and compassion. This new president will have a great impact on global politics and will help shed light on many governmental inequities around the world. He will help raise the bar on what is morally correct and work toward global consensus on many important issues. A Shift in Global Priorities This same trend of pursuing a higher moral ground will be seen in all countries. Dear ones, if everything global seems to be getting worse, be heartened! The old, fearbased ways of warring and dealing must play themselves out at the planetary level. There will also be new, younger leaders emerging in the Middle East in the next few years who will greatly help to bring peace to a very political hot spot on your planet. Even the Arab countries that are Muslimrun will be forced to clean up their act and take better care of their citizens. Africa will have more need of foreign aid and foreign influence to stop the civil wars and mass killings. What you will see is a gradual restructuring of wealth and assets around the world as more truth becomes known and as the global priorities shift from “us and them” to “all of us.” Do you see the difference? Do you understand what huge leverage is needed to nudge the human consciousness from a stance of “service to self” to “service to others”? That huge leverage happens one heart at a time, one commitment at a time—one person shifting in his or her own time to affect all those around. That leverage will be greatly aided by the speeding up of global warming. It may take a game of “guilt, blame and shame” to make governments bow to public demand, but there is great potential for this as the “old guard” is replaced by younger, more idealistic and heart-centered leaders. Here we are talking beyond 2008, into the shift itself and afterward. To you, “peace” may mean that no one is fighting anymore. But that is only the first step! Then the oppressed areas of the world must be invigorated with food, water, basic needs and education so that those people can have a goal besides just staying alive. The best antidote to poverty and oppression is training people to do something productive, giving them the opportunity to learn a trade and provide for their families. Living in harmony means much more than a “stop shooting!” policy. Giving people a chance to make something of their lives, sharing resources so that none suffer—that is truly heaven on Earth. Yes, we are speaking of societal and cultural developments beyond 2008. The more you know about your future goals and the more you can itemize the steps and details, the better your manifestations will be! But again we will remind you that you create what you focus on. To pray for global peace from a stance of fear is useless, dear ones, for you are contributing to the darkness rather than the light. Just keep sending your loving light out to the world, without judgment! By 2008 many more dark things that were hidden will come up to the light of public scrutiny. Increased Scrutiny of Insurance and Drug Companies You have already seen much corruption come to light in the private business sector, putting those responsible in jail and leaving many people out of work and out of retirement funds. Now the light of truth and compassion is being focused on the governmental level, revealing much manipulation, lying, theft and deceit. Another arena on which light will be shed is the drug and insurance companies. Again, the old way of giving over your power to others will be questioned. The large insurance companies will come under scrutiny in countries that have privatized medicine. This imbalance of people getting adequate medical care only if they can afford it leaves millions of poor people unable to get help when they need it. The stranglehold that insurance companies have on both patients and doctors must change, for it is an unfortunate mismanagement of health care. Socialized medicine, too, will come under scrutiny for different reasons, but with the same goal: getting people adequate medical attention when they need it, without waiting months at a time. Meanwhile, doctors are being overtaxed by insurance paperwork and limited by the insurance companies in what they can prescribe. When insurance companies are in charge of what a doctor can or cannot do, the result is sad for all people involved. Some patients are not getting adequate medical care, and doctors are not allowed to practice medicine as they were trained to do. Also, medical malpractice insurance has become such an overblown system that in some countries it is literally putting doctors out of business. After years of training and years of medical practice, some doctors cannot afford the local malpractice insurance and are being forced to either move or retire. Insurance companies are in need of major moral restructuring, as are drug companies, in order to serve the needs of the people, rather than just milking people to make as much profit as they can. Dear reader, please understand that we applaud all the medical advancements you have made and the development of many life-saving medications, as well. But sadly, pharmaceutical companies in many countries are so powerful that they can create a new illness for people to “buy into” just because they have developed a new drug. If you do research on attention deficit disorder, for example, you will find no information at all on ADD or ADHD before 1975. Why? Because that was when Ritalin was developed. Since then, millions of children and adults have been medicated with Ritalin and similar drugs that have made great profits for the drug companies. We are not discussing the value of this particular medication, we are just using it as an example of how people are easily swayed by governmental and medical approval of these drugs, and even by drug commercials on television. Again, this is another old, fear-based way of doing business that must be restructured in a more ethical way. Health care must become heart-based, not profitbased. Though it will take some years beyond 2008 before true change comes, you will see the need for change and the seeds of change happening this year. Global Warming and Global Illnesses Around the world, weather and politics will clash, showing the need for major changes. Since more than half of the world’s population lives in coastal regions, the poorest will be the hardest hit. These weather anomalies will also affect crop growth, and thus food supplies. Long droughts in some areas and floods in others areas will become more common. As the seasons shift away from their prior patterns, some parts of the globe will see longer spring-summer weather, whereas others will have more consistent cold weather. This distortion in nature will cause many illnesses to flare up. As global warming brings us higher temperatures, there will be more time for insects to live and reproduce. Malaria, encephalitis and dengue fever may spread again, affecting the poorest populations in the hottest climates. Even now, many people are suffering an intensity of allergies due to extended pollen seasons. Some are becoming intolerant of chemical additives or developing lateonset allergies and asthma. Many lightworkers who are clearing illness patterns from their bodies through holistic work are finding those illnesses cropping up one more time. Or symptoms may appear, but nothing for which a doctor can pinpoint a cause. That is why we urge you to become conscientious consumers, do research, get a second or third opinion and then decide which therapies are appropriate for you. Use the tools that both the medical and holistic fields offer you in order to get healthy. As we have said in earlier Circle of Grace work, the more you clear your PEMS layers with a daily practice, the stronger and healthier you will feel. The best way to gracefully weather the energetic changes of the shift is to have a daily practice, in some form, to keep you grounded and able to assimilate each rise in frequency without getting sick. Numerologically, 2008 Will Be a Year for New Beginnings Numerologically, 2007 has been a “nine” year (2+7=9). Nine is the number of mastery, the number of completion. Many lightworkers who diligently built their future work saw the fruits of their accomplishments begin to bloom in 2007. The year 2008 is a “one” year (2+8=10=1). Yes, one is the number of the pioneer, the number of new beginnings, the number of new changes coming in to transform old structures. Take heart, you dear lightworkers who are still seeking your true home and true gifts—a one year is perfect for beginning new things! We remind you here that each person shifts in his or her own time and in his or her own way. Although the metaphysical movement worldwide may be a small percentage of the total population, you are gaining strength from the new energies pouring down upon your planet. Expect to start seeing miracles in holistic work as practitioners hone their skills and blend their tools to greater and greater effect. Doctors will be slower to accept the healings that come from energetic therapies, but as the evidence mounds up they will eventually come to see a need for both allopathic and homeopathic alternatives in general medicine. This too will take many years to develop, but you will begin to see the seeds of it planted in 2008. Remember, dear lightworkers, that as the energies get stronger, so do you! Balancing Inner Male and Female Aspects The biggest change we see coming in 2008 is a shift away from war toward finding peaceful solutions for problems, both local and global. All of these extremes—or polarities, if you will—will be revealed as such. Polarization of all kinds will be scrutinized and found lacking in balance, and therefore lacking in moral integrity. How we express ourselves energetically is our unique chord within the body of God. And remember, God is one force, the highest level of pure, unconditional, all-encompassing love. The principle cause of global warming is the increased spin velocity of the planetary inner core. Gaiadon Heart in St Louis. MO

It was a great and a wonderful experience to run a workshop in St. Louis MO. It was dream that was manifested in the real life, I have always dreamt of going to USA. Later i began dreaming of having a workshop in us. Before we went to us, we spend 14 days in Canada, a dear friend of mine started a new teaching and I had a small workshop telling about my Triple Breath and I was helping recording the activations for later use. We were 10-12 people at the workshop in Canada and in ST. Louis we were 9 persons. So it was a nice group. I will explain later what we are doing at the workshops, but it is a way to get connected to your heart and to change your life for the better. To get rid of fear and feelings related to that. It is a very strong healing you will get from the activations and we also heal each other. When we teach, we take care of the students, I am in contact with their higher self, give healing under the teachings and take care of every one so all can feel safe and calm. We work with the inner feelings and some hidden can come up to the surface, but we take care of it all. We will get back to USA in Marts 2008 and we have planned workshop in St Louis, LA and San Diego. we havent put exact dates on yet, it will come later. Now I am back in Denmark again, and I try to digest all the inspiration and impression I got from my tree weeks in Canada and USA, I have met a lot of wonderful people on the journey. Soon we will be back again, it has alway been a dream for me to teach spiritual stuff in USA and Canada. We plan to go back in marts 2008, to ST. Louis MO, LA and San Diego CA.
