Celebration of this Sensitive Moon 12/14/08 (events » community) Sunday, December 14, 2008 - 7:00 PM An Especially Sensitive Luna



On this Esbat beginning December 12th, 2008, the Moon is as close to the Earth than it has been in 15 years, and as close as it will be for another 8 years. The tides are widely affected, and as such, it is so with our inner and outer lives. But we may not be flowing exactly with the tides, as we have passed through a square which can cause very sudden, and in some cases unsettling, changes. The unprecedented financially turbulent times should come as no surprise from either a fiscal/political standpoint or from an astrological perspective.

This doesn't have to translate to being personally thrown of track at all. This is all part of the breaking of old cycles that perhaps have needed breaking for years. This is an exemplary opportunity to pass through the gate of recreation. And the only way we can start doing new things is by breaking away from old and poisonous patterns. Hint: Change is good.
