about me
I'm a doe-eyed and curious way-farer who is more interested in debating the existence of God than discussing the weather, unless it is snowing, or if that discussion borders on animistic worship of the moon. There are other exceptions, but you get the idea. I'm not very good at small talk, nor do I write very fitting descriptions of myself. That being said, I'm very good at those things I am passionate about, like composing music, general wizardry, and avoiding what most would consider to be the real-world at almost all costs.
On the subject of magic

"I discovered an instructive account [of magic] in Avicenna's Liber sextus natrualium, which says that a certain power to alter things indwells in the human soul and subordinates the other things to her, particularly when she is swept into a great...

Glitch List

I've recently completed a mix which I've been splicing together gradually
and intermittently as of late. I called it the Glitch List for reasons which
would soon become apparent. It's the second mix I've put together, and
I thought it fine e...

Because the eye gazes but can catch no glimpse of it,
It is called elusive.
Because the ear listens but cannot hear it,
It is called the rarefied.
Because the hand feels for it but cannot find it,
It is called the infinitesimal. . . .

When therefore the soul of a man falls into a great excess of any passion, it can be proved by experiment that it [the excess] binds things [magically] and alters them in the way it wants, and for a long time I d...

I've recently completed a mix which I've been splicing together gradually
and intermittently as of late. I called it the Glitch List for reasons which
would soon become apparent. It's the second mix I've put together, and
I thought it fine enough to parade for the world! Or at least my friends.
There's quite a few interesting mashups intertwined throughout, wherein
my musical ADD becomes apparent, and perhaps alarming. Perhaps not.
Either way, I recommend it, it's interesting. The...

These are called the shapeless shapes,
Forms without form,
Vague semblances.
Go towards them, and you can see no front;
Go after them, and you see no rear. [Ch. XIV]

But of course, you will have your tree, and I mine; we say it is the same but for the convenience of it, founded upon the basic assumption that the tree exists as a corporeal subsistence independent of either of our perception of it. But does it indeed? It is of course fo...

Rarely do we step back and consider the

What's more; rarely do we strip bare the
process of sensory experience,
to contemplate the possible existence of
a material substratum,

we can even speak of a world existing
outside of our perception of it.
We all have our opinions, yes.
But how often do we exa...
