OK, it's been a while, so figured it was time to update this. I used to do Egyptian style bellydance, but that was a long long time ago, I was looking to get back into it and whilst trying to track down a class on the net I stumbled across a youtube vid of Rachel Brice - nuff said. Am sure Tribal runs in my veins, it has permeated everything, given me soooooo much and also, more importantly, allowed me to share with others. I attend classes run by the gorgeous Nicola Atkin and I love it, the classes are just not long enough for me, the sense of community, trust, sharing, warmth and fun are things I treasure and try to take with me. We do FCBD ATS, and have also done skirt classes and recently started fusion too, I adore this dance in all it's forms and thinkI may be somewhat addicted. I dabble a tiny bit in the costume side of things and I sell a lot of bindis that I make, which I really enjoy, it's so calming. Who knew Tribal would hit me as hard and as deeply, but I'm so glad it did!

The website has taken off quite well, but is quite demanding timewise, and I have let the Headstrong tribe slide a little, what with all the problems Tribe has suffered recently too. Couple of things - a few of you are now Headstrong (!) and I would love to get an album together of people sporting their Headstrong sparkles, it'd be awesome if you could send me pics of yourselves in all your tribally goodness complete with a sparkly sparkle.
