Things are going well for me. (blog entry) Many of my friends are having a hard time. Some have serious health concerns or money, work problems. I'm grateful that everything is going pretty well for me. Right now I'm trying to take care of loose ends for when a storm does come up. I do... read more

Settling into my housesitting jig (blog entry) Has been pretty crazy busy with taking a Thankgiving trip to Orr hotsprings, seeing my old skydiving friends and then driving down Highway one from Fort Bragg to Stinson Beach. The surf was totally going off along the way. This weekend my friend i... read more

Many of my friends are having a hard time. Some have serious health concerns or money, work problems. I'm grateful that everything is going pretty well for me. Right now I'm trying to take care of loose ends for when a storm does come up. I don't believe my good fortune has to do with Karma or that I'm a good person or that I'm somehow a better person then my brother. At this moment my stars are in line and that is subject to change tomorrow. I used to dread the other shoe falling, when... read more

Has been pretty crazy busy with taking a Thankgiving trip to Orr hotsprings, seeing my old skydiving friends and then driving down Highway one from Fort Bragg to Stinson Beach. The surf was totally going off along the way. This weekend my friend is going to help me do my art project. We are going to print up and mount a bunch of my boating photos, so I can do a show. I'm excited about getting further into my photography hobby. I just purchased Aperture 2 for my new I-book. Think, I will sig... read more

My girlfriend had an unfinished garden project that I helped her complete. She fired her ex before he finished her garden boxes. Everything set for like a year and a half and was a sore point for her. One of those deals where her ex owed her quite a bit of money and was going to build her something in exchange. The timbers were just loose and I staked them down with rebar and nailed them together. Them hauled in gravel and potting soil. It was steep going through the backyard and the nei... read more

Casey sailed his boat down from the Puget sound area. Whats cool about all his stuff is that he is all his stuff is traditional. His skiff and oars are all hand made except the oarlocks. His boat is wood and he did the trip down without even a tillerpilot. He seems to be making a living around here doing traditional rigging and splicing. He is going to help Shawn splice up some mooring pennants for the castle.
