That just sounds ridiculous of them. I've shipped 4 hoops together before. There wasn't any extra charge, I just had to pay for the weight - I think it was $18 or $19, but it was awhile ago, so I don;t really remember.

I think you have to send it as a "large package". It's super expensive. I did a quick price calculator on USPS.com to ship a hoop from here (Texas) to Ohio with the dimensions 40x40x2. It came out to $90.92!

I agree that PSI has the best LED hoops, but they are very expensive. There are some good one's on etsy.com for a good price, and you can usually customize hoops with most sellers. I don't normally like to toot my own horn on sites like this, but...
