My Testimonials

September 14, 2007
She is a multi faceted divine being that speaks words of wisdom. Her talents are rages from being able to throw a kick ass party, producing shows, teaching yoga mindfully, to giving sound and solid tarot reading. All the while looking extremely dashing.

I stood at a crossroads, many miles from home. Each of three narrow paths spread out before me. As I peered down each road, I realized with horror that each looked equally dark, mysterious, and foreboding. Just as my last hope was being replaced by paralyzing fear, Party Radar appeared next to me. With a wag of her hip and a wink of her eye, she thrust her finger in the direction of one of the lonely paths. Her gaze was unwavering, her stance absolute. She was right.

Nobody, but nobody does argyle socks justice like the partyradar. Don't let that bootyshaking bartop biz intimidate U cuz she's all heart & soul. I'm just proud to sit in the back of bman special events team mtgs making spitballs & cracking bad porn nite jokes with this flaming goddess of bunnydom.

I second that. Partyradar I love you too! (Math isn't my strong point but if I imagine it was, I'm sure it would take a loooong time to add up Lori's amazing qualities.) Sending...warm fuzzles for the New Year babe!!! M

community is my passion. i enjoy being the catalyst that joins the people and the ingredients that were longing to come together but needed a little helping in finding their way.

i love to laugh and create merriment. i love to dance on the bar. i love to play my fiddle and kazoo. i love burning man. i love to love.

people have told me they think i'm mysterious. the truth is, i'm very simple. if you look closely you'll see.

and in case you're wondering, for the most part, i know exactly what i'm doing.

i've pasted sf zine fest info below. i'll be at the "cartoonist conspiracy" table. it's a very sma... read more

have you ever been in a place or situation that was so mind blowingly cool that you've said to yourself or out loud, "i can't believe i'm here." actually that's a ridiculous question to ask any of my friends because the answer is obvious. what i meant to ask was what's your most memorable "i can't believe i'm here."

here's one of my favorites:

it was my 2nd year of burning man and a couple days after it was over, air was playing the last show of the season at the hollywood bowl. i wa... read more

i just got back from my very first hoe-down. i thought it was going to be a hootenanny but apparently hoe-downs are non-acoustic. hoe-downs are amplified and have drummers.

this hoe-down was in aptos and there were real live cowboys playing beer drinking, knee slapping country music. and they were so nice. they were excited that i was there w/ my fiddle even when i told them i'd only been playing a year and a half.

i have to tell you, this was a pretty strange scene. i mean, i felt... read more
