I am a CyberMonk, TechnoShaman, guerilla ontologist, dabbler in multiple spiritual paths, programmer, systems analyst, memetic engineer, player of didgeridoos, flutes and drums, lover of optical and mental illusions. I am here to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. I will compromise your memetic immune system. I love the look of "Aha!" when someone is suddenly able to see past a cherished model, break a mental taboo, and become just a tiny bit more free than they were before. I believe that the introduction to Richard Bach's "Illusions" sums up everything that is important in the world. I used to want to be a mad scientist as a child and had dreams of an underground laboratory where I would unlock the secrets of the universe. Like many of my friends, I've always striven to be a rennaisance man, but practicality has narrowed my primary fields down to programming computers and my own nervous system. My main goal is to break free to a place where I can once again concentrate on more real-world and less-than-practical engineering projects. Day to day, I'm a father of two girls and a new baby boy. I have two lovely wives, Tina and Janise. I love to create in whatever medium happens to be available. I love my friends even when they don't realize just how brilliant and fantastic they really are.
