Bad Haiku

I thought I would use this space for posting some of my favorite Bad Haiku.

****

Five syllables first
Seven syllables come next
Finish with five more

****

haiku is easy
just three lines: five seven five
dosen't need to rhyme

****

Been there. Done that too.
Nothing left for me to do,
But write bad Haiku.

****

The day seems wasted
If I have not offended
Someone with Haiku

****

My woman is cold.
Bitter, sub-zero cold. Like
Liquid Nitrogen.

****

Can't make her happy
Life is full of disapointments
I'm her biggest one

****

Hearts will never be
practical until they are
made unbreakable.

- inspired by the Great and Powerful Oz

****

I fell in Love once.
It was an aweful mistake.
Never will again.

****

Stiletto Workout
New fad proves the old adage
That time wounds all heels

****

Pluto no longer
a planet. So, is Goofy
still a Disney dog?

****

History repeats
itself; That's one of the things
wrong with history

****

The Summer Solstice
The longest day of the year
But how wide is it?

****

Which hour is longest?
Monday's first or Friday's last?
Time is relative.

****

Lick the lollipop
of mediocrity once;
you'll suck forever

(much like my haiku)

****

as hard as I try
my haiku still aren't funny
and neither am I

****

Haiku: thoughts and words
Thoughts that breathe, and words that burn
Not the crap I write

****

for a good time, call
eight six seven five three o nine,
and ask for Jenny

-- yes, I know there are eight syllables in line two

****

Trekie question one.
Who do you prefer, James Kirk
or Jean-Luc Picard?

****

going bald and grey
don't want to age gracefully
just don't want to age

****

what is happiness?
just the absence of sadness?
is there something more?

****

twenty years I've spent
writing letters never sent
for this I repent

"Hearts will never be
practical until they are
made unbreakable. "

Isn't that a quote from the Wizard of Oz??
(The Wizard says this to the Tin Man)

Haiku in Oz... Who knew? <g>
