So You Wanna Know What I am Thinking?
So we are officially a family of 4 now!! Baby Alayna came on Tuesday night the 16th, at 11:33pm with no complications at all. She was a week late, so it was wonderful to finally see her and she is so beautiful!! We are all doing well :)

For the longest time my hair has been long...and that has been great for bellydance. But I had kind of had it and had my stylist chop off like 8 inches and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wanted to share.... :)

AND! I am due in 6 weeks now!!! 
Well, as of this next Satuday, after Faizeh's annual hafla, I am taking my maternity leave from both of the troupes I am in: Desert Lotus Tribal and Hiplash.

This picture was taken the day after Cairo Carnivale (which was so much fun, of course!). Right now I am 23 weeks along and feeling great. I know that this is long overdue, but I just wanted to say that this event was fabulous! Thanks Faizeh! I got to meet so many professional level belly dancers and they were ALL SO NICE!!! I even met my Tribe friend Richard, and made new ones as well. I had never met any of the "big name" gals before and was surprised at how totally down to earth and sweet they are. I got some awesome pics and had a great time performing with Hiplash. This sci-fi performance introduced me a whole culture...

This last Friday we performed at the AV Fair, and it was so awesome! I was totally nervous getting ready and driving there. But when it came time to perform I was 100% fine, feeling as I do right now typing this. It was such a confidence boost to know that I am totally fine in front of a big crowd that is flashing pictures and video taping. And, the best part was that I didn't mess up any of the 4 times I was on!! And even better was that at the end we did ATS and I was SO not worried or...
