Alanna throws shoes at people when they are mean to her. She's a good shot too. She let me practice with her one time.

Alanna is a magician who lives about 50 yards from me, which is at once pretty cool, yet also a little scary. She might show up one night at 3am, scratching on my window without touching the ground, whispering "Come out, John." The moon, the stars and the planets are her playthings, and she can sing a melancholy song to soothe every creature, smooth and scarred, in this (or any other) realm.
