what drug war??

So, I've been spending some time thinking about what is was like growing up in foster homes aka "the system", and how much I have come to despise most forms of government. I have also come to the conclusion that there IS NO DRUG WAR, there NEVER HAS BEEN A DRUG WAR, period. And before I piss anyone off, I'm not trying to say anything except that we have a corrupt system that doesn't give two shits about anyone but itself. Think about it. Who gets busted most often? Lower to middle class teens and young adults,mostly and unfortunately people of color, who have no clue where their shit comes from, who brought it in, or any real vital information to lead to where "illegal substances" come from. Who buys the most and actually might be able to lead to the source? Duh! Let's think.....who has lots of money?....who can pay off the police to look the other way?......hmm, maybe music stars, actors, models, etc! For god's sakes, there is a POT SMOKER'S MAGAZINE! High Times, anyone heard of it? Of course you have. Artists constantly write songs about how many joints they "smoke in the morning", or having "the x if you're into taking drugs". People admit to what they are doing and the police to nothing because that's what they have been paid off to do. Come on, the "drug war" is a lie. It's a smoke screen, a distraction, a "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain", while "big brother" quietly slips something else up his sleeve that no one saw. What a good magician! Oh, and by the way, where does all that drug war money go? And how's that drug war coming? Should be seeing some actual progress any day now, right? Bullshit, Mr. President. You don't care, you just want us to be scared and confused so you can take even more advantage of us! Home land security?! W.M.D.s?!?! Don't even get me started, you bastard. So, if this is just one smoke screen, how many others are there? Oh, I forgot, no gives a damn. Come on people, I can't be the only one that sees this. And I'm sure lots of people see things with this world, the country, that are unreasonable, unfair and just plain stupid. Why do we put up with this? Why DO so many people want to take the "blue pill" and stay as little cooperative little drones?? All it takes is action. There's already an outraged cry and people are refusing to hear it. There starving people, hurting, sick people, people who need the help and support of their global family. But wait, look, druuuuuugs! Yes, that's what's so important! Oh God, won't somebody please think of the children! That's right, everyone look at the shiny! It's like our system is this huge pyramid, with those who control and make decisions for everyone else at the top. That top needs the base to stabalize it or it falls. All it takes is that base having the conviction to walk away...... *sigh* Anyways, I just think that our government is a crappy, crappy system, and a whole lot of liars and con-artists and theives, and we are doing ourselves and the world a whole hell of a lot of injustice by following them like a bunch of bleeting sheep. You know what I think would be just great? If "Mr. President" and his little government cronies could prove me wrong. Please, go ahead, for the love of all humanity, prove me wrong! Give me some inkling of a clue that you give a damn for "your people", buddy. I'm waiting. And for the people, we have all the power here to change everything. There is a serious need to come together and not just say, but act on and show others the change we want to see in our world, in our global community. We have to take responsibility for the gifts we have been giving, and share them with those who need them. Who do WE want as a leader? Do we even LIKE the system that we have in place? If not, what do WE think is a better way? It's always been our choice.....
