It is 2008

The move to the new home is almost complete. Still some things from storage to get,,, books, dvd's, vhs tapes, sewing machine, knitting machine(s), & some shelving. The keys from the trailer have been turned in.
I am waiting for Liam to get the new isp address so I can check emails & such online. The land line is having disruption,, the tech is due out on friday to try & fix it.
Will start my baking around the middle of the month,, still working on budget issues.. The snow fall last week caught us off guard & we ended up replacing tires (an expense we did not budget). ;D
Most of the fingerless gloves i had out on consignment are gone (sold,, YEA!!!), so as usual busy on the knitting. I get to stay home tomorrow. YEA!!!! I am also working on mittens again. Liam is trying to talk me into making gloves.
Scotia & Hobbette have become fast friends, running all over the house, up & down the stairs at all hours. It is wonderful to see Scotia so active again.
We are learning all about solar power & how to work the system. The Landlords cut down an old dead fir yesterday (Liam helped Gary with the cutting & such),, so our concerns about not having enough wood have all been put to rest.
