about me
Dancing is the most precious part of my life at this time. It fulfills me spiritually and emotionally, and I have never known such creative acceptance before. I appreciate all of those who have supported me and helped me break out of my cocoon, and learn to love myself, for myself. I am anxiously waiting to perform again...and again...and again...:-) To those who haven't tried this art form, do so at once! You will not be disappointed.

Okay, I just need someone objective to help me out with my psyche. I've mulled this over, again and again in my head, and I'm not coming up with anything, because I can only see things from my own perspective. Why is it, time after time, I lose weight, usually a significant amount, and as soon as people start complimenting me on it, I start to sabotage myself? I eat and eat and eat, telling myself I'm PMS-ing, I'm stressed out, any one of a number of different lies, and put it all right back on again. I know I must be doing it to myself, because I end up at the same weight every single time, not "heavier" like a lot of people do. Like some sort of subconcious meat thermometer. I would say that it's because I don't like the attention, but I'm a bellydancer for crying out loud! To be an introvert is the very antithesis of being a bellydancer...lol! I'm so confused, upset and frustrated. I don't want to be forced to do something extreme, I'm too tall, broad shouldered and big hipped to be anything under 185 lbs., but I wish I could get there. I don't think it's too much to ask to get back down to a size 16. I need help figuring this out. Any ideas?
