about me
only take what you need...
I'm totally sincere and serious and simultaneously a complete joke...i am a walking contradiction who always means well, but has the occasional fuck-up.
there is no greater feeling than being in love with life and being free. I'm an idealist, but I believe most things considered idealistic should be reality.
I don't understand why people live by practical considerations and rules when they could be living their dreams.
And if there is nothing that can't be done, why not do it all? People can impose the most ridiculous limitations on themselves...silly humans...
It is my nature to live life with intensity, as my experience of reality is intense, deep, all-consuming.
I have affinities with strangers.
I find beauty in everything and lessons/learning in any situation.
I not afraid to live in the truth of who I am, and I love who I am/what I stand for.
I am the change I seek and am living my most radical and creative incarnation yet! Yay!
I'm also a crazy yoga teacher/belly dancer/artist who likes to fire dance (poi, etc).
I'm open minded and independent. I am an avid reader who loves to travel and learn new languages.
I've also been studying naturopathy and various healing modalities for years, which I'm now a reiki master and shamina (female shaman trained in the Incan tradition).
I'm passionate about art (when inspired), music, environmental issues, healing/helping animals and people, etc.
All that i do is important to me.
I'm considered 'feisty as hell' by those who know me-- but what can i say, i'm a tiger (chinese zodiac) and a Sagittarius.
....and there's (close to) nothing I love more than to converse aimlessly into the wee hours of the night with beautiful, compassionate, and interesting people...i love people.

I'm really excited. I've never really thrown my own party or done anything to celebrate my birthday and well, hah, everyone else is doing it, so now it's my turn. Didn't do anything on my 21st birthday, but now I have more close friends than I've ...

Wow, so after a rough week of working for friends on their feature film, they finally pushed me to the edge. I've been spending all my time helping them build sets and find talent and find a crew up until now. After being sick and not being able t...

Never finished Earth Girl For A Day, but leaving for Death Fest and a bunch of punk shows in Baltimore anyway...I have next week to finish everything. God help me. Good help is hard to fi...

Things have been completely changing...I have gone from completely doubting my talent and myself as an artist to finally feeling worthwhile and like I have a voice, and not just any voice but one that is unique, that has a lot say and offer the world.
Now that I'm graduating and people finally know who I am (from working in different departments and helping people with technical and software issues in video and sound lab), I feel like much more of a person.
Tonight was perhaps the best ...

(I haven't been able to sleep at night lately, so I'm just rambling.)
... Yesterday what was supposed to be an edit meeting ended up being a hang-out session at my friend's gorgeous apartment in the N...

In short, I think the message here is that we should never write ourselves off or see eachother as a victim of various forces. It's always our descision who we are. "

Wow, so after a rough week of working for friends on their feature film, they finally pushed me to the edge. I've been spending all my time helping them build sets and find talent and find a crew up until now. After being sick and not being able to deal with their usual shenanigans this past week, I started to realize how ridiculous the whole thing was- helping them and spending money toward their production and not even being sure that they were going to follow through with the actual film. ...
