Thought you might like this:
Joseph Campbell was in Japan for a conference on religion when he heard another delegate from the states in a conversation with a Shinto priest.
"We have been to many of your ceremonies, and seen a good number of your shrines . . . but still I don't get your ideology, I don’t get your theology."
The priest paused as though in deep thought and then slowly shook his head. "I think we don't have ideology, I don't think we have theology . . . we dance."

I have only known Sully for a short time, but he has already rocked my world and turned it completely upside-down, although I must admit, I like the view. I've never met anyone who was so totally on my wavelength from the get-go. Such a giving, caring, thoughtful spirit, this man has. Treasure him. I do. xoxo

Want to carry my wallet?
Want to carry my heart?
Borrow it for 10 minutes?
Borrow it for the evening?
Keep me warm?
Cover my back?
Who’s asking?
Who’s accepting?
If it’s Sully the answer will be yes every time; any time.

First of all, I didn't even know you could DO testimonials on tribe until Sully enlightened me. His spirit is so energetic I can hardly even describe. Crazy thing is, he's always directing energy outward. He's very independent but always in service of others. At parties, he's always raising others' experiences. Very ingenious Sully is for this, because this ends up heightening his own through reciprocation. The reason everyone doesn't do this is because it requires a small leap of faith in serving others before oneself. The force is strong with this one. It's a magical combination because his altruism attracts love from those who can accept love with grace, as he does himself. It is said that our universe is a reflection of what is inside of us. Just read Sully's blogs and you'll know a passionate, caring, intense, talented, thoughtful, intelligent and fun soul. We can all learn great things from him. Among the many lessons, "Pull others up from below, raise them above you, and they will in turn facilitate your rising."

about me
I have a crush on LIFE right now!
So I finally realize the dream I was trying so many years to make a reality. It's funny how it still doesn't seem real. I landed on the Ross Ice shelf in the Ross Sea off the coase of Antarctica in a C-17 Airforce plane today after spending the last two days in Chistchurch, New Zealand (Cheech for short, in the McMurdo lingo).
In Cheech I had a surreal experience, I was looking over the hundreds of brochures and flyers that hang all over the walls and noticed one from the Kiwi experienc...

My wise bro, Dirball Dan recently had a rant on Ego's and I wanted to chime in with my own thoughts on the subject.
Ego's are like assholes, everyone has one. That's a true statement, but then why do so many people let thiers get in the way, or let others ego's get in their way for that matter. It's a dog eat dog world yes. But don't we respect each other on a human level.
I know people who think their shit doesn't stink, they talk over people, speaking at a volume louder than you w...

I can't believe how up and down I am lately.
Wake up, it's a sweaty 86,
feeling dread. More bills.
Go to moms, it's too early to be near her.
Mom goes to Dr.
need more coffee.
Go back to ma's and steam clean the carpets.
Stupid dog, attacks the vaccuum.
Pissy mood, moving furniture.
106 degree, heat index, Shitty little a/c unit.
Sweat dripping off my body from the slightest movement.
Quick work faster, before mom comes home, and asks crazy questions.
Shitty, Bissel, steam...

I can't believe what real life is lately. The emotions, the experiences, the people, learning, learning, learning. Random things I didn't know I liked, or might like or am afraid I might like. Things I didn't know existed keep creeping out from every corner. It's burning man everywhere lately. at work, at home, with my friends, in the woods, in the pool, at THEATRE BIZARRE!
I helped some close new friends I know in Monroe hold a benifit for CJD (Crutzfelds Jacobs Disease) Better k...
