the words "buddy" and "nice"

these words are starting to make me uncomfortable. generally, anyone who calls me "buddy" isn't my buddy, and anyone who uses "nice" in response to something i've said usually doesn't mean it. it's just a stock response. so i'm gonna try to cut these two words out in hopes that those that converse with me do the same.

exceptions:

when referring to buddence t. lembeck of "charles in charge" fame, 'buddy' is still the preferred nickname.

grandmas and other old people can still use 'nice' however they want. but they don't really use it in the annoying way anyway.

i am SO with you on this!
and have been for years.

fortunately, as a woman, no one really calls me buddy. but when other people call people buddy, it SO irks me.

also, as far as i'm concerned (and ask any ok, i've been saying this for years), if "nice" is the only thing you can say about a person, it ain't much!
