I'm a pagan (not actively practicing), polyamorous parent. I've been a fan of science fiction (and have had an interest in science) since I was a child, and after my first divorce became active in Mensa (inactive soon after becoming involved with my second ex). I was raised Roman Catholic, but had exposure to a small neighborhood Protest church which probably contributed to my view that no one path has a monopoly on Truth. For much of my life, I have lived a Path of Growth, which includes the lessons learned from relating to people polyamorously. A person once described polyamory as "Twice the fun and three times the work." Actually I believe it's more of a square : cube relationship, but worth it IMHO. I host a monthly poly dinner in the South Bay.

I currently work in Silicon Valley for a high tech company. I manage many of the day-to-day issues of their testing lab for storage system. It doesn't give me the charge that I'd like to have in a career, but it provides the monetary energy to allow me to pursue the rest of my life. If I ever manage to return to college and get a degree, I'm really considering Library Science this time around. Some of my fondest memories of high school was when I worked in the library. That's a work environment I could get excited about.
