"Behind the Words" (blog entry) Or beneath the words. What do we see?
As long as there is the observer and the observed, there will be conflict.

Or beneath the words. What do we see?
As long as there is the observer and the observed, there will be conflict.
But if we use our observation inwardly,
We begin to see behind the words,
We see the process of labeling, controlling and organizing the world into habitual conditions.

We see the process of creating our reality, at least psychologically. We see how we created and continue to create our identity. This can be experienced moment to moment, and presently.

The New Age

We are indeed living in one, beyond any connotations that would imply a resurgence of the ancient world, full of spirits and deities which were layered within the landscape; forests, mountains and deserts. Civilization as a whole has reached a crux, a precipice if you will, in which we have amassed great power and technology, awareness and ignorance- and we may do with it what we will. I've just opened up, "The Buddhist Bible," a book that's been sitting on my shelf for some time. Included in the texts is the Tao te Ching. It's interesting reading the ink, and in a way rejuvenating. If... read more

I recently saw the film "Indigo Evolution," and I must say I felt very compelled to express my reflections on this. The film set me off, and not in an positively inspired way. If indigos are meant to be "system busters," then I'm going to have to bust this one. Please bear with me. I do not mean to be attacking anybody or their beliefs, nor do I mean to sound arrogant and pompous, but at the same time I can't remain silent on this.

So what is an indigo? And, how does this documentary depic... read more

Shamansun is a wise friend, unique thinker, and teacher-if unbeknownst to some-to many. Look to him for a great conversation on Zen Buddhism or alternative rock music.
