While there is a disgusting war going on that we must also fight to end, we must remember the countless numbers of beings who are tortured, and killed each year for your appetite, entertainment and "research."

I'm as anti-military as you can get, the Marines are state killing machines and if you care about Berkeley's past or it's future you'll fight to get rid of them. This will have to be done not through words and actions of the city council which will accomplish nothing, but through the people. Hopefully it will encourage other peace loving folks in other cities, (I say this because of Berkeley's history of activism, but lately I can only look down upon the cowards and hypocrites that continue...
