Along my path of life I met a Goddess who reminded me how imortant it is to keep the
fires burning within my temple.
Selena is the Goddess that reminds all of us how sacred dance is and she has created a wonderful festival to bring in the Goddesses of dance together.
Floralia is a calling to each and every woman not only to remember herself but to spread the word of the Goddess. We all have Selena to thank for this.
I am blessed and honored to call you my friend and even more so to see you bring out and dance the Goddess within.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom and for helping all of us to remember we must keep
the Goddess alive.
The world is a better place because of you! Thank you Dear Goddess!!
Much love always,
Leyla

Each time Selena makes me feel special and welcome. I look forward to each time I see her. Not because I will get something out of it but because she will be there. She is a special person, with a gift that makes the day special.

SELENA, named after the moon goddess. Her name fit her. Nothing perturbed her, cool as a cucumber since the first time we met, many moons ago.
Sweetest person you will ever meet, a great freind to have in or out of bd biz. WISE person and has so much spirituality in her- the warmth and the joy of presence.
SELENA will never forget a stranger she has met or known years ago.
Have you seen her performance yet? Check her out/invite SELENA to teach at your area.
DEDICATION to dance is in her spirit and sharing.
Im lucky for her to have me as freind.
I love you SELENA- ( a sister a never had).

Goddess Selena is the most versatile and unique dancer I have ever met. You never know what her next performance will invoke, but regardless of what it is, you will be stunned and amazed. She is the peacemaker and true ambassador for all bellydancers, as well as an inspiration. I am truly blessed to call her friend.

Born in Springfield Illinois in a real Blizzard; or so my mother always told me. The year of the snake. Elusive, Mystical philosophical approach to Life though a bit abtract ; a mystery even to myself. Clairvoyant, Intuitive; Spartan Capricorn, Aquarius/Pises rising. I learned early in life it's greatest lesson. It is all about LOVE. That's it pure and simple. It is all about LOVE. Love is all there is!

The Famous Saidi "Stick Dance" is considered one of the most important of all Egyptian Folkloric Dances. "Raks Al Sayya" originated in upper Egypt (Al Said.) I will be teaching the female Cabaret version created by Mahmoud Reda for Theatre. Learn to break down the Saidi rhythm and accompany it with Steps and combinations, for use within an Oriental routine as well as an original choreography to Hossam Ramzy's "Raks Al Assaya".
