I am a mixed bag of contradictions - hehe wrapped in a mystery and all that sort of thing. Mad and silly, Buddhist technocrat and pagan Jew libertine bon vivant, omnivourous, pansexual full of love, despair, modern age anxiety, and philosophical artichokes. Somewhere along the line, a big pile of life fell on me and I've been burrowing in it but after years of chewing on sticks and leaves I feel sunlight on my face, a breeze, and hear trickling water nearby.
If we can't find Heaven, there are always bluejays.
Now you know why I spent my twenties crying.
Cries are required from those who wake disturbed at dawn.

But, I come away with: if we're going to put all this energy out, let's accomplish something the world needs, and not fool ourselves.
