<div>It’s been a week. Our dad Daniel just got home from Cleveland Clinic Saturday. He has had a aortic aneurysm on the bottom of her heart that is 3 inches long. He was been up to Cleveland last month for his ‘30,000 mile checkup’ and they found that the stent had migrated a bit so his doctor wanted to go in and put a stent around the stent to shore it up. He came through his surgery this week with flying colors.

Our mom Lucy hadn’t been feeling well but she’s had a cold and had been coughing like crazy. In fact, she was not feeling feel in Cleveland. Yesterday she was having trouble breathing and went to the ER. She’s having some congestive heart failure on top of some bronchitis. So far she is responding to the Lasix and so far they don’t think it was a heart attack (her initial tests didn’t show that it was a heart attack – those enzymes were all in normal range – but they were running more tests more night and this morning).

Please pray for our parents and for us... or light a candle, say a spell, send white light......it’s been a rough week.</div>

too proud to sleep?

<div>I was so happy and excited when I got home from class last night, I had trouble getting to sleep last night.

I gotta say I am very very very proud of my ladies. We have been working on an in-class choreography to "Warda' (the Asena version) with both Hadrah (my main company) and Zayna Ziyad (my student troupe) dancing together. I set up the choreo to be based on variations on a series of about 20 moves done regular time, then double time, and then (after the taqsim bridge) triple time.

They are freaking nailing it.

N-A-I-L-I-N-G I-T.

Spot on with the timing. Picking up the weird syncopation I worked into it like it's nothing.

We have about 45 seconds of choreo left to master and it will be done and I have to say (humbly) it is one of the best choreos I have seen. Seriously. I would put this up against anything I have seen Magic Hips do.

And can I brag? This is only the second choreo I have ever put together and the first I have designed all by myself.</div>
