My Blog

Staying in place is easy. Moving forward, progressing is difficult. There are four balls in life I am juggling, right now I think four is about all I can handle. Family, School, Recreation and Work. I have started paddling (outrigger) once again and am very glad to have learned there is a relatively strong outrigger community in the Puget Sound region. We can finally after nine months, hold her in our arms. Mia was born on Jan. 5th at 10:26pm. Never before have I experienced anything which was simultaneously so intensely beautiful, heart warming and frightening at the same time. The entire delivery process lasted for about 15 hours and was filled with almost every emotion excluding anger and jealously which I can think of. Well, 2007 is behind us and 2008 is all around us. My wife is to deliver our first child any day now, she was due on 12.31.07 - though it is very common for first time mothers to carry past their projected due date.
