My friend, my teacher, my dance partner (sometimes) ... we have so much fun and talk until one or both of us is in trouble and being hunted down by our significant others. Her smile is infectious and she was one of the first Beledi Club members I took a mental note of that "Hey, I want to dance like HER!"

Yes! It's that time again! My annual Toys for Tots Hafla! This time featuring Artemis Mourat!

I'm in preparations for my annual Toys for Tots Hafla. I can't believe it will be my 5th one! We are also bringing in Artemis Mourat for a workshop that weekend and she will be performing at the show! Yippee! So much to do...so stay tuned for more information. I've been haphazardly sending out teaser flyers to places...now I need to do a more focused effort.

Yippee! We (as in The Studio - www.naughtynomads.com) are bringing back Izzy to Huntsville to whip our butts! We first brought Izzy - www.izzydancer.com - to Huntsville last June for The Studio Anniversary workshop and show. It was always in the back of our minds to bring her back...and when there was a scheduling snafu with the original workshop instructor, it was decided to see if she was available and willing. And she was!

Finally, I think that things are working on this end so now I can spend some time back on the net. Had a bit of computer trouble the past couple weeks...so we drastically resorted to buying a new computer for me to do my "work" on and then setting up the older computer just for the kids so they can mess it up as often as they want to. *sigh* Just gotta love those kiddies!

This has been a rather eventful week - since last Thursday was the Peking Acrobats, then Friday and Saturday were TribalCon, Sunday was Bill Cosby...then the rest of the week was spent recovering from this awful cold. I am finally feeling human again - yesterday was so horrible I almost pulled a Bonnie and went to the ER...but hubby nursed me back to humanity with tenderness and chicken noodle soup. Yummy. Big changes are happening in my life right now...and I'm hoping to lay down the right foundation for the new opportunities. It's both exciting and terrifying! Oh well...either way, life will go on.
