My friend, my teacher, my dance partner (sometimes) ... we have so much fun and talk until one or both of us is in trouble and being hunted down by our significant others. Her smile is infectious and she was one of the first Beledi Club members I took a mental note of that "Hey, I want to dance like HER!"

Yippee! We (as in The Studio - www.naughtynomads.com) are bringing back Izzy to Huntsville to whip our butts! We first brought Izzy - www.izzydancer.com - to Huntsville last June for The Studio Anniversary workshop and show. It was always in the back of our minds to bring her back...and when there was a scheduling snafu with the original workshop instructor, it was decided to see if she was available and willing. And she was!

Finally, I think that things are working on this end so now I can spend some time back on the net. Had a bit of computer trouble the past couple weeks...so we drastically resorted to buying a new computer for me to do my "work" on and then setting up the older computer just for the kids so they can mess it up as often as they want to. *sigh* Just gotta love those kiddies!

This has been a rather eventful week - since last Thursday was the Peking Acrobats, then Friday and Saturday were TribalCon, Sunday was Bill Cosby...then the rest of the week was spent recovering from this awful cold. I am finally feeling human again - yesterday was so horrible I almost pulled a Bonnie and went to the ER...but hubby nursed me back to humanity with tenderness and chicken noodle soup. Yummy. Big changes are happening in my life right now...and I'm hoping to lay down the right foundation for the new opportunities. It's both exciting and terrifying! Oh well...either way, life will go on.

Tribal Con is this weekend! Yippee! And I still get to go...and since I'm not performing, I can actually sit back and somewhat relax in preparing what to pack for the trip. I'm excited about the chance to meet new people as well as learn some new technique or refresh on the ideas/techniques... read more 
So I get to teach class tonight - and this is the last class for the 5 week session. Lesson learned - I can spread this out into 6 weeks so the next Basic Bellydance session will be 6 weeks long. That will start on Feb 22. I'm hoping to get at least 5 people to commit to the session again.
