Yippee! We (as in The Studio - www.naughtynomads.com) are bringing back Izzy to Huntsville to whip our butts! We first brought Izzy - www.izzydancer.com - to Huntsville last June for The Studio Anniversary workshop and show. It was always in the back of our minds to bring her back...and when there was a scheduling snafu with the original workshop instructor, it was decided to see if she was available and willing. And she was!

Izzy is a tremendous teacher, and I wish that I could embode her passion for dance and inspire my students like she does for me. I know that I go through my own sophmoric slumps in the teaching department...and even in the performing department. But to read what she went through to get back to dancing, and my tribulations are extremely minor in comparison.

I may not be as strong as Izzy...but I know that I have a slow persistance to continue with my education in this art form. I've been in a bit of a slump lately, so I'm really looking forward to having Izzy here this weekend to kick my butt and give me more perspective in why I continue to dance. If only we can have her stay a little longer than just the weekend workshop. *sigh*
