about me
I have always been open to aspects of healing and energies. Science fiction reading I have done through-out my life has helped me keep an open mind about a lot of things. In fact, it was at a science fiction convention that I was introduced to the wonderful world of energy. I met someone that eventually taught me meditation, drawing energy from rocks and crystals, helping others by changing the energies in them. I found more teachers, and eventually one that taught Reiki as well as other things to develop one’s psychic abilities.

I learned basic massage in a trade with a licensed massage therapist in Maryland. It was then that I realized I was drawn to massage. I took these basic teachings and practiced them until I became good enough that I was doing massage trades with licensed therapists, many of whom said that I was better than a lot of therapists they knew. This spurred me on to go to massage school which I did in the evenings while working a full time day job.

I have been doing massage professionally since 2002, but I could claim another five years experience on top of that. Currently, I work with many styles of massage doing each style singly or combining movements from many into one integrative massage. I do Swedish, Deep Tissue, (two styles of) Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Myofascial Release and Myofascial Unwinding, Trigger Point Therapy, and Hot Stone Massage.

I have also been a Reiki master since 1997. I found Reiki to be a very easy to use, yet powerful form of energy healing. I do have knowledge of Polarity Therapy and a certificate in Therapeutic Touch, but Reiki is the one I tend to do the most work in. But in a healing session, I tend to do whatever is needed whether it is Reiki, Polarity, TT, crystal work, or just whatever energy is needed whether I have a name for it or not. Basically, I feel that the more I learn, the more tools I have in my tool box, and the more capable I am of ‘fixing’ someone.

I like being able to help people. There is no greater reward than to see some come in, in pain, and then walk out an hour later pain free. It’s the best feedback one can get.
