i'm in love with a desert and my favorite book is Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk (I carry it everywhere): "My goal was just to write some new form of horror story, something based on the ordinary world. Without supernatural monsters or magic. This would be a book you wouldn't want to keep next to your bed. A book that would be a trapdoor down into some place dark. A place only you could go, alone, when you opened the cover. Because only books have that power."

I had my wisdom teeth cut out yesterday, all four were impacted. I stayed awake for it, it was pretty cool hearing the cracking sound and not being able to feel anything. The worst part was feeling like I was drowning from all the spit and blood and lack of feeling in my throat. They let me keep my top two teeth because they were whole, they had to break my bottom ones to get them out so I couldn't take those home. My face is still super puffy.
