I love the new Apple commercial with Coldplay's song about when I ruled the world. I just like the song and the video. It's not deep, it's not fancy, it's not out-there, or even artThow, because it is commercial. But what can I say, it's like bubblegum, you chew it, it's delicious, you make bubbles, they go pop, and you laugh. That's one of those songs. Plus, I feel like I do rule the world now. I didn't earler because I was young and not so bright. Now I'm a bit older (I've picked up cool points along the way) and a bit brighter. But I'm only cooler because of the friends I've made, and you all just ... plain... rock! And some not so plainly, bless you funky fungi!

The other thing I love is my job.
I woke up at 8, there was a Gin and Tonic next to my bedside from last night. I was thirsty. I drank it.
I woke up again at 10. Hmmm.... went back to sleep.
Woke up at 1:30 got dressed, even put underwear on! Yay! and collected all the stuff I needed (Phone, Contact lenses (which were not used), lowfat applesauce treat, cold water) and rolled into work. Helped the new guy with some computer issues he was trying to figure out, but the PC he was working on was major fubar (I work at computer repair, and he is taking over that job for me).

My 'boss' - he's not my boss, he's a neighbor with a business that I work at - yes, fixing computers and going to people's homes to fix them.. he gives me a brand new GPS unit. Not the do all be all high end unit, but something that can get me through the streets of Bellville or Newark, or wherever. Because I get seriously lost, dazed, confused, and that's before I have anything to smoke or drink.

How I make it to PDF each season? I don't believe in God, so it must be fate (which I also don't believe in) that gets me there. And Taco-Boy's wonderful directions. Love Love!

I had a 4PM appointment to help out this elder gent with his AOL - it wouldn't work!
Got there, he was glad to see me - I've done work for him before.
Internet connection worked fine.
AOL had some sign-on issues
I downloaded the new AOL 9.1
It fixed the problem.
He couldn't print.
I fixed the jam in his printer/fax
It does this all the time
He is getting a new printer/fax
I told him to call me when he gets it
So I can come and install it.

He's Grandpa, except
I get $75 each time Grandpa needs help.
He's glad to pay,
I'm glad to help.
It's working with friends.
The only thing I could ask
Is for a million dollars per year.
But happiness is priceless.. so I'm happy, if not rich.

When I rule the world: I would want friends, not just money.
When I rule the world: I want to give and get respect, and knowing honest smiles
When I rule the world: I want a good video send-off!

Hopefully, if I have all those things, the money will come. But I'm not counting it yet!.

I need a roomate.
