Outdoor practice Sunday April 8

<div> I am going to give outdoor practice a shot on Sunday. Bethesda Terrace in central park is a pretty good spot for fire. It's blocked from the road and from the wind. Rather than just have conclave practice, I am going to invite anybody who wants to come and participate. This is totally going to work.</div>

<div>I announced my intention to run a conclave group this year to Crimson. She actually emailed me a reminder a week before the deadline. I've got a dozen folks so far. That's more than enough. I never do choreography anyway, but this time I have a great compromise idea. I have a lot of blocking and pedestrian movements that one can do with whatever instrument you like.
Now that the weather has gotten nice again. It's time to start laying down some movements with people. Like at a rehearsal or something.

<div>Here we go. For some reason everything happens all at once. Maybe I just get active when the rest of world picks up the pace. I've got a fabrication gig for the next two days in addition to this virus experiment I have spent months preparing for. I will be doing a couple 16 hour days for sure.

Naturally my top priority is to make a new sword right now. How else do you stay sane?</div>

"Colder than a witches tit"

<div>I was going to post this over email, but I find the less you say over email lists the happier you will be. Still, if you are curious, the etymology of
"colder than a witches tit"

"colder than a witches tit" concomes from the superstition that witches couldn't bear children. Rather, women who couldn't bear children were witches. There is also a second meaning to "witches tit," wich is a third nipple or unusual birthmark which witches used to suckle their familiars with. This cursed mark could also be hidden beneath the skin in the form of a numb spot. Basicly if an Inquisitor wanted you to be a witch they would strip you shave you and stab you with a bodkin needle to find your witches tit. And then they would burn you alive. It harkens back to a day when we lashed out at anything different from the fundamentalist status quo and most of the witches I know find the term offensive. Still, my Dad used to love to say that, and most witches take themselves too seriously.

OK I'll shut up.

<div> After spending a year coasting. I feel like I am ready to reenter society again. I should really thank everybody who kept calling me and keeping me involved in Madagascar/Fire/Burning Man stuff. Andreas and Kelly, thanks for inviting me into your home. I have too much to thank you for so I will just say you guys are great housemates and I should cook brunch more often. Hackett, thanks for keeping me involved in Madagascar and getting me all that work. I really needed it finacially and psychologically. Be glad you don't go in for this Tribe crap because you will never have to read this. Mark, thank you for letting me play the frontman for fireless fireworks. The limelight is nurturing in a weird way and you gave me that. Todd, thank you for not taking sides and still being a good friend. I know I never come out, but I really appreciate the invitations. Chuck, thanks for your zen like slack. Jess, thanks for taking sides, it meant a lot. Gear too, thanks for letting me vent. Splinter and Claire thanks for lauging out loud. Most of all, Miyeko, thank you for suddenly being there, somtimes it's hard to believe you are real sometimes.
The healing continues, but once again I am whole person.
