The first time I watched fire spinning I was entranced. From there on I picked up some tube socks with tennis balls and began my poi adventure. It's been two years now with no stopping in sight : ). I have organized and performed in three large shows at the 21st St Coop for an audience of 100 or more people. I have order poi materials in bulk and crafted a dozen poi for fellow coopers. I have performed at a 50th birthday party, at a bar, and at the Full Moon Party in Tortola and I want to do more shows! I am in the process of getting licensed and insured for fire performances. I have experience and the equipment for fire poi, fire snakes, double-headed poi, and two flame colors. Many of my friends also perform with staff, fire breathing, and fire hula hoop but I would like to meet more people with this interest.
