I'm a 52-year old former journalist who was disabled by kidney failure and now has a transplant. I was a wire service reporter in NYC and the an editor for a newspaper north of NYC.I read a lot of both fiction and non-fiction. Fascinated by the nature of consciousness, something only recently getting its due by the professionals.
