We had a car accident Thursday. I'm thankful though, that we have only minor bruising and such.

Ugh! I'm having surgery in less than 6 hours...why am I still up?? Oh yea, nervous.
Oh a lighter note, my husband and the kids made me Mother's Day breakfast...so cute. Anyway, the picture above is of one of the biscuits they made. It just happ... read more

Okay, so the day before yesterday, I'm starting dinner...I've got my potatoes washed, I'm starting to slice them on my (oh so scary) mandolin slicer. I'm slicing at a fairly quick pace...and then it happened! I sliced a piece of the pad of my thumb clean off! There was a lot of blood :( We had to bandage it three times before the bleeding would stop. So, my final bandage of the night is on...non-stick gauze (yeah r... read more
