I am an Armenian. I was born in Istanbul. My father's name is Sefer, and my mother's Takuhee (Sultan). My father was born in Sasoon and my mother was born in Mush. I have two sisters and a brother.
I consider myself a dervish, someone who is wondering on this earh, trying to understand what's going on. My life mission is to reach enlightenment. I consider, Mevlana Jelaleddin Rumi my spritiual teacher (or guru) as I have learned to open my eyes through his poetry. I love to play music. I am into drumming and the oud. I mostly play Middle Eastern music, but I also love to play at African drum circles. I am into poetry, I write my own poems and perform at open mikes. I am an engineer, I have an masters degree in Electrical Engineering from NJIT. I have always been fasinated by machines, at an early age I used to spend hours just looking at the tubes in my grandma's radio. I wanted to know how this machine called radio worked. I am a cancer surviver. There was a little tumor on my right leg and it was removed. So far it's clean. I think this experience has thought me to enjoy life to the fullest as we have very little time here. Thank you for reading my short bio and looking forward to meeting you....

My Blog
It has been couple of weeks since I quit my job at Alcatel-Lucent. It is a great experience, I should have done it earlier. I have been working there for 10 years, had a very good income but I was very stressed out. Now I am looking into different ideas, I have some small ideas like DJ and teaching drums. I also have some conservative ideas like opening a small business for example a gas station or a bagle shop. And greater ideas which can make me rich, like day trading and opening a computer...

Today I hang out with my friend Sahin at a trail near the Dalware water gap. Everybody who lives in Norh jersey should visit this trail. It's close to Exit 1 on 80 West near the PA border, right before the bridge that takes you PA.
