so i went on a lovely hike at Mt. Nemo, near milton
fuck is it ever my favourite place 'round the corner from here

turkey vultures and chipmunks

took our shoes off and walked on limestone
sat on the edge of the cliff
then turned to a ball
yoga twist, side lying
close to falling
free from fear

and this simple hiking trip
has inspired more climbing
s and i joined joe rock heads for a couple weeks
spent monday afternoon bouldering and climbing
my hands are raw
and my heart feels fearless
(an almost useless combination)

i bought a harness it arrives Friday
(get your mind outta the gutter)
this one is for climbing
not bouncing
