peace . . . at the End of Days.

>>Even some of the Israelis from the hawkish side of the spectrum noted with some wonderment the extent to which Bush has extended a message of warmth . . .
"He didn't remind us even once of the words 'the Annapolis Process,' and I don't think it was coincidental," said Gideon Saar, a Knesset member from the right-wing Likud party. "He spoke about peace in Israel almost like it was something that will come at the End of Days." <<

They do not believe in the law of karma, and imagine themselves in control. Israel and her supporters have made it impossible for a palestinian state now, winning what they imagined as a dualistic struggle. Now a one state solution is the likely outcome. The ultra orthodox part of the israeli pop. is growing much much faster than the secular jewish portion. The arab israeli population is also exploding. It will not be many years at all before secular jews will be a small minority in israel. The ultra orthodox are actually very similar to the taliban in many ways, like carrying sticks to beat hell out of women who are too immodest by their standards or who violate some of the arcane edicts of their absurd religious code. They ARE IMMUNE FROM THE DRAFT! , are largely supported by the state dole as they study the torah all their lives, and have a few other social problems. .....karma is really beautiful.
