<div>My computer went down a while ago so my activity on Tribe has been nil. I have missed y'all though and expect to be getting back soon.
In the meantime, I figured l'd give this brief update for any interested.
I have been in and out of and then back in love once again. First Stephanie caught my eye in February after a brief flame and on Steph's recommendation I turned my gaze on Calhoun ( Julie) an herbalist and a Healing Arts Professional who was living here with us for a while this Spring. She has moved out now but we continue to gain intensity. Both of them are brilliant women and I feel totally blessed by their attentions.
I have a lot to credit Stephanie with and we had a great climb and peak. We left it totally on the good. As well as encouraging my interest in Calhoun she has brought me to start studying at Shimbhala Center here. Currently taking "Turning the Mind Into An Ally" It feels like progress.
My grandson Lucien is 1 year old on the Fourh of July. A big ole' party is planned for Augusta that day.
Life is Grand!</div>

<div>National Certification!!

After great resistance I finally took my National Certification for Massage Therapy. My resistance was more stubornness than anything else but the State of Georgia Licensing Laws kicked in in July so it was time.
                                        Aced it!
It was stupid to wait because of course now I can work with Doctors and Physical Therapists, Chiropractors by referal AND of course bill to insurarance companies...duh!
So if your on a treatment plan with a medical provider and have to travel to Atlanta or you just need an excellent space to relax after deplaning...HOLLA AT ME!</div>

<div>Damn I've been slack. I guess I'm just not the prolific blogger type or what?

Anyway, I've been forgetting to tell Y'all that my first grandchild was born on the Fourth of July at 10-ish in the A.M.! He has a brother who is 9, named Tristan. A great kid but the topic here is Lucien Xavier McCoy! Congrats Collin and Jessie!</div>

<div>A friend of mine here at the house and I were talking about the 2008 Election and she asked what I thought about the prospects of Hillary or Condy. I told her I have misgivings about both pretty much equally. It isn't that I even dislike either of them.
Condy seems to be leaning toward the Margret Thacther end of the spectrum and is just too laiden with Puritan Ethic and Hillary well I just have it that she is just yang enough to not be enough of a difference to Politics as Usual to be any fun for me.

It took a day or two to sink in but I really think that the real difference in this civilization will only take shape after we elect a man to the office who actually listens to women and serves the appetite of the woman (women) in his life. Then maybe we will have a space in the Oval Office big enough for a woman to occupy without having to fight her way through everyday because of vagina envy.
This came clearly to mind, actually, after the story hit about W's trip to India in which he gave the access to nuclear fuel from the US and then followed by declining the Prime Minister's invitation ( offered in response to a request by Laura ) to visit the Taj Mahal. Then he blames his scheduler! What a lout!

speaking to the question of ...

<div>How did Vic Baranco change your life?

By saying simple apparently obvious things, that you overlooked before or didn't quite look at straight on, like "Fun is the Goal, Love is the Way".
By setting up a world where the only rule is " nobody does anything they don't want to do".
By producing the idea of the one no vote and by having the community agree/notice that even the kids have a no vote.
By making a no vote irrevocable and permanent, so we might want to think about it first and find a way to agree.

All of these ideas are really only finer distinctions of the way things really work in the deep little spaces between synapses anyway, adding the distinction of acting through our nature rather than over its objections to get everybody More in life.
It really is all research.

<div>Collin, just got married. He, no.. no... they suprised us all. At least, his Ma and Me. The bride's name is Jessica. Not only that but They presented me with a 9 year old grandson., Tristan. Now, Collin's sister, April is 9. So now I have a 9 year old grandson who my 9 year old daughter's mother insists I make clear is a mere !/2 (can't stress this enough) nephew. April doesn't know the difference though, she just loves them all and lets God sort 'em out! When it comes to Love April is the Very Special Forces. She and Tristan were clearly pals from the top.
I love this because I don't feel like I had to do anything very much more dificult than being birthed to become blessed with all this. This is my core. After that it gets more complicated. Without it, I can't imagine what I'd have or want. But, why bother when this is so perfect.
