Got the call while waiting for my connecting flight in Atlanta and...
Sat, May 16, 2009 - 12:26 PMThis is a gift for many reasons but the best is that this home sits in the middle of the historic district of Havre de Grace, Maryland . Go to www.hdgtourism.com/ to check it out. It is a stone's throw from a weekly farmers' market. The Chesapeake Bay is two blocks east. There are great family run stores and restaurants and I'm only a 10 minute walk from the Martha Lewis which is the skipjack sailboat I volunteer crew on.
I can't wait.
WooHoo!!!!

The house is beautiful.
There are many many possibilities for a house such as this in the interior, because you have the space to think about where you are placing furniture and art and knick-knacks. Enjoy the possibilites!

Does this Victorian Classic have a weather vane?
Congratulations !
What a fantastic score ! I guess in a house like that you could begin to write your memoirs, and the vibe of the place would only add to the pleasure of the work... |

I am a sucker for terrific front porches. My envy matches the green of your new home. BUT it doesn't compare to the good wishes I send your way for much happines and joy while you thrive there.
