The owner said he wants us to live in this beautiful little home that he owns. We are thrilled. Tomorrow, we meet with him to finalize everything and in less than two months, we will be living there.

This is a gift for many reasons but the best is that this home sits in the middle of the historic district of Havre de Grace, Maryland . Go to www.hdgtourism.com/ to check it out. It is a stone's throw from a weekly farmers' market. The Chesapeake Bay is two blocks east. There are great family run stores and restaurants and I'm only a 10 minute walk from the Martha Lewis which is the skipjack sailboat I volunteer crew on.

I can't wait.

WooHoo!!!!

The house is beautiful.
There are many many possibilities for a house such as this in the interior, because you have the space to think about where you are placing furniture and art and knick-knacks. Enjoy the possibilites!

Does this Victorian Classic have a weather vane?
Congratulations !
What a fantastic score !
I guess in a house like that you could begin to write your memoirs, and the vibe of the place would only add to the pleasure of the work...

I am a sucker for terrific front porches. My envy matches the green of your new home. BUT it doesn't compare to the good wishes I send your way for much happines and joy while you thrive there.
