"I like to think about what was going on the year the grapes were growing, how the sun was shining that summer or if it rained... what the weather was like... I think about all those people who tended and picked the grapes, and if it's an old wine, how many of them must be dead by now. I love how wine continues to evolve, how every time I open a bottle it's going to taste different than if I had opened it on any other day... because a bottle of wine is actually alive... it's constantly evolving and gaining complexity. That is, until it peaks... like your '61... and begins its steady, inevitable decline... and it tastes so fucking good."

~ The Best Day Ever ~
Out in the world, you'll meet a certain thing
Once you know, you make it so, you will start to sing.
You should laugh 'cause, it’s really up to you,
Even if you get it wrong, you’ll get it right the next time through.
Once you have direction, and once you know the game,
You’ll stand at the crossroads where every choice is the same.
After a while you'll know exactly what to do,
Even if you get it wrong,
you’ll get it right the next time through.
Life is true and life is exact.
What you give is what you get and also what you get back.
No use in crying, let's dance with the few.
Even if you get it wrong,
you’ll get it right the next time through.
You are here to grow and learn by your mistakes
If you don't, if you won’t, they’ll repeat at higher stakes.
When you believe that there is nothing you can’t do,
Even if you get it wrong,
you’ll get it right the next time through.
I wish you well, good luck with your endeavor,
Every moment is magic and this is the best day ever.

Hay everyone!
I was lucky enough to work with the Sassy Sparkle's Goddess herself, to create my very own color of Eye Kandy eye glitter....... "Ela's Enchantment"! A dramatically dark indigo that captures the magic of a deep starry night's sky! The color is rich, but very classy... very "Hepburn" if applied as a thick eyeliner. It would look killer with a strong red matte lipstick, turning it into a stylish retro look! Applying the glitter over a layer of black liner will darken the co...

Oh, have you ever gotten SO mad, that you had to "just walk away" from your sewing machine?
Frankly, I sometimes scare myself while I sit at my sewing table. I make odd noises, and catch myself grunting, growling and hissing like a monster if things are not going my way. (My cat, who accompanies me in the room, looks at me as if I am batsh*t crazy.) Why, must it seem that when I hand-stitch, the thread I am using is ALIVE, and must fight and wrap itself around any possible object on my...

Canadian-born artist Gregory Colbert began his career in Paris making documentary films about social issues. Filmmaking led to his work as a fine arts photographer, and the first public exhibition of his work was held in 1992 at the Musée de l’Elysée in Switzerland.
For the next ten years, Colbert showed no films and exhibited none of his art. Instead, he travelled to such places as India, Burma, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Dominica, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tonga, Namibia, and Antarctica to film and photogr...
