I count Toby as one of my best friends. Always fun to be around, he brings laughter and good energy to all of our gatherings. He has the mind of a reporter and the imagination of a young child...a potent combination! In addition, he's a great father to his delightful daughter Lucy. I look forward to having many more adventures with him!

Well for the most part the hallmark of this summer has been change. I’m not basing this on my own story but also on what I’ve seen and heard about what other people’s summer experience has been like.

But all I can really talk about is my own story and here it is. About six weeks ago, I got some letter from The Paper, basically stating that everyone’s contract is going to change. All the correspondents that is. The gist of the deal is that I’m getting paid per-story instead of per-week, and... read more
Well I'm starting off my blog with a photo I took today. I call it "The Best There Is." It shows a Hummer parked in front of a Wal-Mart, which I think pretty much sums it up for our country right now.

I had this big ol' blog entry written before but something happened and it's gone! What is up with that? Well I am going to start off new tomorrow then and go into whatever it was I was trying to say today. In the meantime, enjoy the picture. Later. Moxie the H.
There’s a town down the highway a bit, near where Shiva lives, and incidentally this is the same town where that restaurant exploded a while back. I can’t honestly say I’m all too thrilled with having this particular town on my beat, mostly because of it’s extreme conservative views. Case in point -- they’re still having “rallies for the troops” in the present day, some two or so years into the least popular overt war in the nation’s history. This is the town with the small arms factory that ...

Well it's been a while since I blogged, but what with all the stuff happening it's not too hard to see why. All in all, this was an excellent summer. Let me rattle off some of the highs and lows: Best music -- Incus totally rocked at last month's deal at L&L's house. Anyone have a CD of that yet? Runner-up for best music this summer would be ... um .... read more
Well holy cow there. It has been like forever since I posted something. The truth is that I actually wrote three or four posts but could not post them for a number of reasons. Mostly that is due to stuff I can’t control, like evil spirits and whatnot, but after invoking the name of Shiva777 and some other cool deities, things seem to have gotten better.

Moxie is a brilliant light shinning all around me.
He may appear shy at first, but he is certainly worth getting to know on a deeper level. He is fun and playful and I always laugh when I am with him him. He has a vivid imagination that he willingly shares with others. His deep sensitivity is a gift for those who he spends time with. July 31, 2004
It'd be a Very Good Thing, I think, to get to know Moxie a bit better. What little I know of him has proved him to be a kind man, with an expansive mind and an Open Heart. By the nature of his beautiful daughter, I know he must be a Great Father. He seems quite self-motivated, and has an Openness to create family and Good Relations-- which, to me, is really why we're ALL here, making this Earthwalk.
