The title of this blog jumped straight off a page of "Get Smart with Your Heart" and resonated so deeply that I was shocked. I have become the person I would want to marry. Wierd or arrogant to say? Perhaps. Thanks to efforts to be different than my parents' many marriages and having partners (including my ex-husband) for much of my life who didn't really "get me," I have developed myself in my own mo... read more
Oh, the vagaries of life. I am grateful for this big, glorious, complex, blessed, and fun-filled adventure.

American Jungle of Earthly Delights The American Jungle of Earthly Delight is an eclectic dreamscape of our physical and cultural cognitive jungles. It is a dense, misty mass of contrasts and contradictions where explorers frolick and re... read more
Today is my last day in Hawaii. There are many topics and experiences to write about, but I didn't write about them (yet) because, well, I was experiencing them. We are off for a day of exploring waterfalls and snorkeling in Kauai, meandering to wherever inspires us.

I just wanted to share a quick thought though, to see if this by chance inspires you as well. This comes from Sue Monk Kidd, in her book "The Mermaid Chair"( which I was just reading in a hammock on the porch of our B&B). ... read more
