I'm open and friendly when I meet new people, which I enjoy doing, but have a solitary streak that makes me a rather inconsistent networker/communicator. Reading is an addiction for me -- both non-fiction and fiction -- as is browsing the internet. Good, craft-brewed beer is something I thoroughly enjoy and know a little bit about. Although I live in Philadelphia, I was raised in the rural South and love the outdoors and natural history. Socially, I'm very libertarian. Politically, I tend to take a moderate, pragmatic view. Personally, I'm gay. I have no religious interests at all, but philosophically I am intrigued by the Taoist approach to life with its striving for balance in motion.
