Please HELP!! Need RV/Camper for BM!

Hello Tribe peeps....
In a pickle here and would love some assistance!
As a birthday present I was gifted a BM ticket and RV to borrow...
Have everything to go for that rv... no mas rv as of last friday.
URGH!! These men and their ego's!
Thinking it was the responsible and accountable move to hire a mechanic to 'safety check' the rv first before heading to BRC...hmmm....bruised an ego.
The rv rental place was all out too.

This has been a personal struggle for me all weekend.
Every spirit guide and all may dream practices have pointed to BM as my catalyst for creativity.
I trust that the universe will provide me with everything I need.
It was hard to break down these actual needs vs wants when expecting a lush rv...
May the universe provide me with:
* cool comfortable indoor bed to rest this body when needed at anytime
* cool clean dry skin to apply the life force hormones each day
* cooking facilities (unprepared for outdoor camping)

With my health history, I have learned to give space for this body and listen to its needs.
Sometimes it can be high maintenance, albeit better safe than sorry. Time to rest.
Everything is in perfect timing.

....sigh....was hopeful that tonight was the night....dreaming of the playa will blossom the realities by tomorrw...

Any solutions are more than welcome!!! ;)
Please PM me..... thank you, XX

You have received (my FIRST) YouTube video!

Hi everyone!
Yesterday I trained with the famous LA hoop dancer 'Hooplur' (aka Chika) in hollywood.
Japanese is her first language. She inspires me with her on hands-on training style.
She also ingrained the value of video feedback for personal growth in the hoop.
Alas-- my first youtube video!!!

www.youtube.com/watch

Disclaimer-- First time trying a light weight tiny hoop. LOL ;)

ENJOY!!

The infamous "How to keep fresh Strawberries lasting for weeks" Trick !!!

Those who know me-- know that I love tricks!
What is a trick you say...?
Tricks can be used in majick, hooping and anything in life to create a KISS (keep it simple stupid) frame of knowledge.
Collecting fun and unique KISS tricks are my favorite!

Being that it is mid-summer & I live in the Strawberry Capitol of the USA, today's trick is on:
"HOW TO KEEP YOU FRESH STRAWBERRIES LASTING FOR WEEKS!?!"

This is how you do it....

1. DO NOT WASH until you eat them (must keep dry)

2. Carefully remove the green tops and leaves from the basket of berries WITHOUT touching the internal stem.

3. Now take the top-less strawberries and place them in an air tight food container lined with paper towels.

4. place air-tight bowl into refrigerator.

5. Wash each berry when ready to consume.

6. If you plan to keep the berries for over two weeks-- keep checking the paper towels to see if they need changing.

**Disclaimer** this method is no good if the berries are being used for presentation or chocolate dipping...obviously. ;)

YES it really works!
Just to prove to my grandma that I had this right-- we had a marketing focus group with a handful of other grandma's at Leisure Village back in 1995. (Grandpa was the judge.)
Each of the Grandma's pulled out their personal tricks to see what worked the best and longest.
Grand-daughter wins with 3.6 weeks!
(no strawberries were exchanged, albeit I loved Ruthie's matzo brie !)
Why does this really work?
With any fruit the act of nature is the same...
Once the stem is removed - the fruit starts to collect bacteria and the fermentation process begins.
The leaves are there to protect the fruit. You are removing the protection with no stem damage or breaking of the fruit skin = keeping the fruit in its purest self.
With Strawberries in particular, the seeds are on the outside. Once the berry is removed from the vine, it automatically starts to decompose or rotten.... because the leaves are doing it's job to produce moisture.
Keep the berries dry and air tight for longest results.

yummmmmy...who wants strawberry shortcake next week?
ENJOY THE SUMMER!!!!

Surfing the wave of Hoop Path

Surfing is like Hooping in a strange way-- strong in its culture, community, creative and most of all a highly spiritual experience.
Each carries the lingo that varies by location.
The music speaks by transforming the body movements into art.

Baxter and Ann are in town and I was so fortunate to be able to participate in his journey. The way he spoke - it felt like I was the only one in the room. How did he know so much about me yet we never shared space?
The glass was shattered and something was re-awakened!
This body is buzzing. This body is moving in ways it never did. This body is tired albeit refuses to allow the Dr's to win.
The experience lasted thru the night and beckoned for more at day break.
Restless in my dreams to practice in 'my patch'.
Spectacular sunrise, warm, windless, low tide, ankle breaker surf and soft sand between the toes.
There I was waiting for it, breathing with the ocean and then...bad ass hooping began.
All kinds of trees, birds and paddles came to play with me.
Clearly found this zone that never existed before inside.
These hands felt the rhythm of the drum until I drilled down the sand almost to my knees. Totally lost track of time. (good thing for school bells)
Today I noticed the surfers paddling towards me.
No surf means they find entertainment elsewhere.
Something inspired me to grab my board and get wet.
First time since my grandma's paddle out.
Cleansing, purifying and down right cold.
Most of my hoop buddies have no idea that hooping replaced surfing for me. The dirty CA water has taken me down too many times-- so I got benched.
C Street Surfing Museum has a fundraiser each year called the C Street Longboard Classic. As a board member, it is my way of giving back to the community at this time of reflection.
Sept 06-- one of my vendors brought hoops to the event.
(Oh Goddess did those hoops save that event with no surf and fire storms.)
Riding that wave right into the hooping world were I submerged myself with all kinds of hoop knowledge.
Blessed to have an inspiring master trainer and look forward to learning many more languages of the hoop.

That sunrise energy took me straight to calling into my first laughter conf call. No need for caffeine today.
Following the Hoop Path is all I can think about.
Tonight they are local and so wanted to repeat last night.
Want this to be a long ride.
At the same time I wanted to use and share this wonderful energy with my students.
Students won.
Still needing to cut loose of this buzz...
After class I headed downtown to join the local surf crowd in the Ultimate Boarder Pre-party... an old skool local band was playing.
Looking geeky in my hoop gear, no one recognized me.
It was weird, like I did not exist there.
All these hot surf guys from the 80's are sun damaged and saggy now.
Juicy distorted music blasted the room.
Dancing erupted and there I was busting out on the dance floor with no hoop in hand.
Sassy pants and puff ball hair a bounce...they saw me now.
Hoop Path myth came to vision and here came the birds and two trees flooding out my pours.
(Almost as if I've not gotten everything out-- still purging....I can feel it.)
What a feeling to cross cultures again with the language of music. My past started to see me now... strange how movement is recognized in dance just as surfing.

My hoop path wave is slowing down and ready to kick out until tomorrow.
Great ride!
Thank you Baxter and Ann for linking the DNA back together.
