I also am currently backing-up to a Time Capsule. But its capacity is half that of my hard drive. I am debating between a 2TB external firewire or a 2TB internal drive instead of the current 500GB Time Capsule. Any recommendations?

Just kidding. I'm not in disagreement on your branding points, Fifi. You don't see Windows stickers on cars do you?!?! There is a new phone on the market, sold through Verizon only, that is expected to be... read more discussion post on Tue, November 3, 2009 - 7:25 AM

I doubt I'll go back to Windows exclusively. I currently run both Snow Leopard and XP on my Mac Pro at home and my iMac at work. Some software I need to do my job is Windows based only. But I personally find Mac hardware and software overall a bet...

Interesting, a computer that can run it's competitors products which the competitor can't do itself in some cases is "crappier". Yeah right. A computer with the only OS that can fully utilize more than two processing cores is "crappier" than its c...

1. The camera work in that video gave me a headache and I had to stop about 25% of the way through. Is that a clue about Windows 7?

I do use "ethics" and "morality" interchangeably. I only differentiate "mores" (not the eels, hahaha). I understand your distinction. We're on the same page in the end. discussion post on Mon, October 26, 2009 - 12:31 PM

I object to your seeming equivocation of morality with religion. Normative claims are over and above science claims. Memes, according to memetics, transmit themselves via a copying method, usually imitation. In examining the survival of a meme we must consider certain factors: copy-fidelity (degree of mutation in copying), the context in which it occurs (its environment), the meme's fecundity (or environmental fitness), competitiveness (rival memes found in the environment and the copying rates).

The G.W. Bush administration advocates and exercises the Unitary Executive Theory. This is why Gonzales maintained he owed no obligation to appear and testify before Congress and why Rice maintains she need not honor the Congressional subpoena. However, the unitary executive theory may be the Achilles heel of the administration. According to this theory, the President possesses all executive power of subordinates within the Executive Branch which the Constitution does not specify as requir...
